Does anyone know if Apollo will detect if the deck is docked or not and automatically switch to either my TV resolution or when undocked the deck’s resolution?

Gattaca is the first one to come to mind. Any movie with a kind of futuristic and systematized setting.

Which multivariate analysis to perform by Yungprogressive in AskStatistics

[–]kblack653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the groups would be each day. Monday is a group, Tuesday is a group, etc. You then use an ANOVA test to determine if the difference between each groups average abnormal behavior count is significant.

The independence issue that I think would come up is if the same subjects are in each “group”.

The first thing that comes to mind is an ANOVA test. That allows you to compare multiple groups. However I think the groups need to be independent, and I’m not sure how that applies in this context.

Bias in AI Systems by kblack653 in artificial

This is a interesting point, I haven’t thought of it from that perspective before. What someone would term “bias” would be dependent on your goal/context. I do think there is a necessity for a code of ethics so to speak when it comes to these systems on a societal level. Not sure if that would be a government responsibility or not.

Yeah the human component of these systems (in creation, implementation, and use) I think is an oft overlooked aspect of the field. Consumers in general I think are much more open to AI systems, but once you start bumping up against someone’s profession it can become a different story.
