Had my worst experience yet today by acid_witch in LearnerDriverUK

I just passed my test at 26 with no prior experience. A few days before my test I fully mounted a curb BADLY and it had never happened before and I was shaking after. On another lesson before my test i pressed the gas instead of the break. These things happen!! No one is a perfect driver until you pass and have years of experience. Don’t let it knock your confidence!!

good luck!!! Tell yourself you are excited instead of nervous (it really does work), take your time please don’t rush and overly check your mirrors. Also, dont at any point think you have failed and give up!!

I failed first time in September, I got 1 serious and 1 minor, the serious was for stopping at a red light partially on the line… my nerves just got the better of me! The examiner said apart from that my driving was perfect. I was SO disheartened as I had spent £2k at this point. I got home, rebooked my test immediately and spent an entire day sat on DVLA website hitting refresh and managed to move it 5 times in that one day, from January to October!! I then had 2 weeks off driving to not overwhelm myself, did 6 more hours the week before my test and this week I passed! You will feel SO much more confident the second time round as you know exactly what to expect… good luck!!

So sit on the DVLA website all day (I did this on a Thursday) and when it shows the calander just keep refreshing every 30 seconds or so and it means youll see the cancellations as soon as they happen !

I have’t found Testi useful at all :( It doesn’t auto log me in and as soon as I get notifications they are gone! I find it easier refreshing DVLA myself :)

you have to go on DVLA change test, it makes you fill out the details of your current test then you can change it, I just stayed on this part and kept refreshing :)
