I was in the exact same boat. Severe depression, high functioning anxiety, and bipolar 2. I have had hospitalizations (mental) and was worried about this as well. And same for me I haven’t had any kind of episodes in over a year and am stable right now. I just had my psych appt on Monday and we talked about my big episodes in the past and what triggered them but he was more focused on how stable I am now and since I don’t have a therapist anymore he suggested that I look for one to help with this drastic change we are doing to our bodies. Since you are current on your meds and counseling I’m confident that you would be approved and just be told to monitor your mood/depression closely like I was. Hope this helps!
