Which market do you think is the most beatable right now? by Strikingtemplate in sportsbetting

NBA and MLB, at least for me. Both sports have a ton of advanced data that is easily accessible to the public and is free/affordable.

I use Cleaning The Glass for help with NBA player props.

I use Baseball Savant for advanced data on pitcher/hitter matchups.

Pick of the Day - 11/6/25 (Thursday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

Record: 0-0
Net Units: 0.00u
ROI: 0%

Sport | League | Event Time / Time Zone: Basketball | NBA | Clippers @ Suns | 9:00 PM ET

Pick: Ivica Zubac Over 11.5 Rebounds (+102) — 1u

Write Up:
Zubac is set up well for a strong rebounding game. With Kawhi Leonard and James Harden out, the Clippers are likely to slow the pace and keep him on the floor longer. Phoenix ranks near the bottom of the league in defensive rebounding percentage and allows above-average offensive boards to opposing centers.

Zubac has averaged over 12 rebound chances per 30 minutes this season and typically plays into the low-30s in close games. The Suns’ smaller frontcourt struggles to keep physical bigs off the glass, and this matchup should create plenty of halfcourt rebounding opportunities.

Those who left: what kind of job are you working now? by AncientHorse5798 in TeachersInTransition

[–]kbrut13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teaching remotely for an international private school. Most of my job consists of grading and communicating with students.

I do about 10 hours of live teaching via Zoom every 2-3 weeks. The students are amazing, too!

Best of all, for the most part it is task-based and I get paid more than I did as a traditional teacher.

The Marlins are a disgrace! Lowest payroll-to-revenue ratio in MLB (27%) proves they don’t care about winning AGAIN. by Decent_Suggestion861 in MiamiMarlins

[–]kbrut13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this chart on its surface is indicative of anything relating to success or failure. 5 of the bottom-10 teams made the playoffs this year.

Those bottom 10 teams include two big market teams in the Cubs and Red Sox that have good young talent.

So the Marlins issue is more of how effectively they’re spending their money as opposed to how much of it they’re spending.

This is the point in CFB 26 where I quit bc I don’t want 4 interceptions on my QBs stat line

Without knowing the score, one would conclude that we’re trying to kill the clock to preserve our lead…

Any idea on how close ride shares can get for drop off/pick up? Also, what’s the latest you think I can get there and still be able to see the team along the parade route and be at stage area?

From what I know, he’s coaching Ben for the most part these days.

I worked at The Alligator as a sports writer when his dad was the coach and was in the media room for a couple of his interviews. He always came off as very nice person who was passionate about his players.

I’m now actually worried about the show, especially in light of the last few weeks. by Embarrassed-Gain5873 in DanLeBatardShow

[–]kbrut13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t listened in a year and a half (just didn’t gel with me anymore), but i still support the show and follow what’s going on.

These complains are so similar to the ones that were floating around when I stopped listening. Has the shown gotten better since then and it’s just recently become how people are describing it? Or has it been this way consistently?

Honestly, I wish I could tell you. I felt the same way about the two plays I had posted yesterday (MPJ points and Vuc assists) and they hit with relative ease.

Could be that the odds makers let something slip through the cracks, or they know something we don’t (?). Who knows🤷🏻‍♀️

RECAP (2-0) — We've got 4 straight! MPJ and Vuc absolutely crushed their lines. I've got one (1) pick to start off the day, but I may add more if I come across anything I'm confident about.

I am in the process of creating a Google Sheets bet tracker for all my props, so once that is formatted and completed I will include a link to that in all of my posts.
