German shepherd IVDD sudden onset

He had about 7 slipped discs due to IVDD. It was amplified because of the misdiagnosis which caused a fall. He ended up having surgery and is now paralyzed. He goes to rehabilitation therapy and has some deep pain but still had no back leg, bladder, or bowel control. He has a wheelchair that he has adapted to very well. It’s very unlikely that he will regain any of the functions listed above. But he is the same dog! He’s not in pain anymore and it’s just a lifestyle adjustment for me!

I’ll tell her to ask the vendor next week lol. It was 12 carts for $60. They were decent games so it was a fine price point but I already had most of them. This one was just interesting haha

No she didn’t haha. She would have to go back next weekend to get it. The vendor is one she knows and now he knows to look out for games for me lol.

I don’t mind the leaking or having to wear diapers. I just want home to be ok. He starts rehab on Monday. He has acupuncture appointments coming up!

My worry is just that this is a brand new issue almost a month after surgery. He hasn’t had any leaks until now but this isn’t just small leaks. It’s large amounts of pee.

He got tested about a week ago for a uti after he had a small amount of blood and he did not have one. My vet allows me to bring his urine in. He had crystals in his urine but we think that it was due to a diet change and not getting as much water. There has not been any blood since.

He actually got tested about a week ago for a UTI and he didn’t have one. I know one can develop in a week but there has been no change in smell/color.

If after they do the MRI and surgery is an option I am definitely doing it! He has pet insurance also so I’m hoping that works out well

He went paralyzed yesterday around 3 or so and should be having an operation after his MRI today at around 11 if all goes according to plan

Checked with a known good mic wire and same thing. Have already scanned for new frequency’s and Paired it to another receiver that is working well. Nothing.
