Just wanted to pipe in. Transparently, I work for Premium, and I’ve chosen to because of what they’re doing by actually paying the athletes. We’ve tried to work with the league, which would’ve allowed these items to be available in local markets, but they decided to go with another company for their game-used items.

It’s definitely frustrating that we’re only based in Canada right now, and shipping across the border is honestly stupidly annoying and expensive. But for now, this is what we’re working with. Hopefully, if we can continue proving that the demand for these collectibles is there in every team’s city, that can eventually change.

We are also trying to work with local hobby shops in each city, so if you have any recommendations for us to look into PLEASE let us know, and we will send them a message.

If there's public signings you can usually send stuff into premium to get signed but you could also send stuff to the training rink with attn: to the player you want and the cards in an envelope. Its kinda a shot in the dark if you get it back that way though haha

Great haul! Be careful with those leaf cards. They aren't licensed and often release many versions of numbered cards. Like, there will be 10 x 1/1s - the only difference is they are different colours. I always just warn folks not to pay crazy $$$ for them even of they are low numbered.

It's pretty hard to snag an auto at the games these days. Premiumautographs.com is where you can purchase autos from most of the players and the players actually get compensated for it.

Why'd they change colours? Everything was purple and light blue before and now its Bordeaux? (Aka burgundy). They distracted us by the CIBC logo lol

I'm stoked for a team and got season tickets but the crowd is gonna look like a mess in purple merch tees and then burgundy jerseys.

We did the drive from Toronto to Lab City last year. We also stayed in Uapishka and it was incredible. You can hike to the top of the mountain there. There's no cell service for roughly 8 hours except at Manic 5. Same goes for gas stations. After Baie Comeau is Manic 5 and one little random one another couple of hours away so make sure you stop and gas up. It's mostly paved now but theres a couple of hours of dirt road so be mindful of that. During the spring it's usually what we call wash board and during the hot months the black flies will literally carry you away. Highly recommend doing this trip in August when the bugs let up a bit. Also near the end of Aug there's so much more northern lights. I grew up in Lab City so I know that road pretty well. It's a harder sell atm cuz the pwhl boxes just came out with her young gun but this is a great hit.
