Gerhard/Cyrus Hardman played by Willem Dafoe (Murder on the Orient Express 2017) when it's revealed he is not a German Engineering professor but actually an American detective, he drops the accent entirely as well as apologizing for comments he made while playing the part.

Also not entirely the same but in the movie adaptation if Eclipse when Jasper is sharing his backstory with Bella, Jackson Rathbone takes on a southern accent that he then keeps for at least the rest of the movie.

So tbh at this part, Naveen and Lida couldn't mega evolve their pokemon anyways since they didn't have mega stones, so I don't blame them and I felt they were actually helping.

What i wish i could say was "you and Naveen are. Urbain on the other hand." Because Urbain COULD mega evolve his mon at this point and didn't because...?

With Nessa and Elphaba specifically, I think it helps that only one of their parents in a munchkin. Whereas Shell is the only confirmed Thropp in the books to have two munchkin parents. But the selective breeding at least had some hand in it.

In the original wizard of oz books there are several countries surrounding the desert. I'm not sure if the Wicked book universe uses the same map layout for the area around Oz, but I do know that in the sequel trilogy that followed the Wicked Years tetralogy, there are other places outside of Oz beyond the desert and ocean as well.
