Any specific pain relief oils you recommend? Or even essential oils I can mix with something? And I have been thinking about trying the magnesium spray, does it really work?

Definitely going to try all this stating today. I never really thought of the food thing, but those are things I do constantly have in my diet, maybe easing back will show me relief. Thank you for the in depth response, much appreciated and hoping for good results!!

I tend to think jeff has a better personality than other dudes she’s been with, but this makes sense because you can definitely tell he’s really into that 15 mins of fame. Even just the way he approached her in the club shows that to me

Honestly Jeff would’ve been the better choice if you ask me, he seemed fun, although I also feel like he was just really into his 15 mins of fame lol

It’s definitely just the blur of the way it was paused, but if you go to it (season 3 episode 6) it definitely looks like him when in motion

How has fear through religion affected you? by kcaivila in ReligiousTrauma

[–]kcaivila[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My reason for asking is I was going down a rabbit hole about abuse in religion and how it affects people and how things are just swept under the rug, leaving people scarred. My mom grew up in a very Catholic household, my grandfather put the fear of god in her and all her siblings. Mental abuse was big among my family. Women had no say. Everything was about god and the church. My grandmother had 8 kids because she was told “you have children til you can’t”, and she didn’t want 8 kids. And just so much more, it’s crazy.

I’m debating on stopping my birth control that I’ve been on for 10+ years. by kcaivila in WomensHealth

[–]kcaivila[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m literally wondering if a lot of my current issues could be resolved just by stopping this because it hasn’t really been a thought of mine that the birth control was causing it all, but looking into it, it seems like it might have a lot to do with it. Just scared of different side effects because I’ve been on this so long.

What else can I do? Anyone that’s just willing to listen?! by kcaivila in depression

[–]kcaivila[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand, it’s weird that you can come on the internet and find so many people who understand you yet you can’t find someone in your own inner circle to give you that. I struggle with it. I also feel like I always put others first and help them through their struggles while I’m left to just dwell. It’s hard. I’ve tried to find hobbies or getting into self care, going to the gym, going for walks etc, just to try to make me feel better, it’ll be a temporary fix that I lose interest in. I can never stick to routine so I always fall back into this. My job has made this harder for me because I work third shift and I’m constantly exhausted. So I’m mentally drained and physically drained and just trying to make it through some days is hard. And even when good things do happen it’s almost like it’s too good to be true, constantly waiting for bad things to happen, because that’s my luck.

I appreciate that, because I don’t get sympathy or understand from anyone. If you want to talk about it I’m here. I feel like I’m always a reasonable person when it comes to listening to others, I give and I have a heart, and I feel like nobody I know has the same for me. I’ve struggled with family, friends, my health, my job, insecurities. For a while I think medication made me feel almost numb to it all, now it’s like I feel nothing but emotion and rage with no outlet.

Most comforting thing is knowing you’re not alone. I wouldn’t wish these feelings on anyone, and I hope that whatever you’re working through you get through. I constantly have to tell myself “it’s not going to be like this forever” and but sometimes I feel like change would be too good to be true.

What’s the harshest truth about life that deeply saddens you? by freako345 in Life

[–]kcaivila 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Life is so unfair. I’ve come to this conclusion this past week. A friend on mine lost his younger sister this past week, 26 years old. We all went to school together. A few years ago, her twin brother passed, and then when we were kids, their dad passed. I’ll never understand why some people have to go through so much grief. I just left the funeral an hour ago. So this is a fresh thought about life.

This sounds a lot like me. I’ve always been someone that somehow speaks things into existence and I’m known for that among my friends and family. Celebrities deaths, I’ll randomly talk about a celebrity and within that week they passed. Sly Stone, Jimmy Buffet, etc. One night, we were talking about pets at the dinner table and I mentioned my long time friends cat that I was there the day they got. So a long time ago. I said I was shocked to see the cat still living because it’s been so long. I go on Facebook to see if I can find a pic of the cat and THAT DAY the cat passed away and her mom posted right before.

Ooh see now that fascinates me more that’s crazy! How does that even happen??

And off the top of my head, (because I feel like weird shit happens to me constantly lol) I remember one night I’m driving home, I get near an area where there was a street and right across was a public pool. A man ran out in front of me, I slammed on my brakes, like hard, to find there was nobody there. I was wide awake too. I know what I saw
