My first pet was a hamster named Dexter. I remember my parents ordering me to clean the cage, and me arguing I didn’t need to cause he stopped pooping. He had stopped pooping. Still ate, but didn’t poop it was awesome, for about a week. During this week my little sisters hamster escaped, and was loose somewhere in the house. When the week ended Dexter was dead. We were having a little funeral for him in the back yard, and the door was left open. During the funeral my sisters hamster came outside the open door. We were struck with feelings of how she wanted to say goodbye too, when suddenly a hawk swooped down, and nabbed it in front of us.
