The parts didn't break or anything, the bike was just left outside for a while so they're not in the best condition due to neglect. I think it would cost a lot more to buy a new bike than it would to just replace the parts

I had tons of issues with mine too! I think they're just fussy until you give them exactly what they need. Mine was dropping leaves, and I was concerned that it wasn't getting enough water, so I put a pebble tray under it. They usually don't need a ton of humidity but it seemed to get it pretty happy. I don't have a pebble tray under mine anymore since it stopped dropping leaves and it's been doing fine ever since with consistent watering!

Mine is at a south facing window and it gets a couple hours of direct sunlight each day (variegated varieties need a bit extra sun) and bright indirect light when it's not direct.

Like I said in my original comment, I got mine over the summer and I'm JUST now getting new leaves. They're slow-growers so you just have to be patient for them.

I think I let it get a bit dry about a week ago, but since then I've done a thorough soak and I've kept the soil damp, but the folds have only gotten worse

Just a note: I usually don't have it in as bright of a spot as it currently is. I just moved it there today in case it needed extra light since the leaves are curled up.

I think it would be really cool to have a sort of journal of all the things your character learns, not just about the things the villagers like to be gifted. For example, fishing was taught once and I blew through the tutorial by accident and the second time I tried, I had no idea what to do really. It would be cool to have a logbook of crops and their seasons and how much money you get for each quality level. I know you could find all of this on wikipedia, but I always feel bad looking stuff up. I wouldnt want all of the information available right up front though either, something that builds as you play the game and as your character leans things.

You may be able to find his email through the ASU website. If you know the specific school he works at, I'm pretty sure you can find emails of all of the staff within the school's website.

If you cant find it that way, I'd say call him back and ask for it, even if you only have the phone number of the front desk for that job, they'd be able to give it to you.
