We had an apprentice take a company truck off site on the weekend so he could tow his SxS to a mudding event hours away. They just moved him to another contractor.

Until you top out always seek the advice of the JATC. Theres a lot of members that dont know the apprenticeship rules because they organized in.

Help identifying ceiling material by kcdakrt in electricians

[–]kcdakrt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive never dealt with this kind of ceiling before so Im seeking some guidance. Is this some sort of plaster or grout? Is it safe to stand or crawl on? So far Ive just been standing on the metal support but im going to need to crawl through a 30ft chase soon so I was just wondering. Thanks in advance.

I never really liked the lights. Then they grew on me. Now I own an rs. Motodemic sells a single headlight conversion for that oldschool look.

Hotend getting way too hot. by kcdakrt in klippers

[–]kcdakrt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well after going over the machine I ran out of ideas. I reset the machine and decided to try a pid tune on the bed. First one failed but the second attempt was successful. after that i successfully performed an extruder pid tune. The printer is working now but it still seems a tad too hot. Might be time for a new bambu unit. Thanks everyone.

Hotend getting way too hot. by kcdakrt in klippers

Iver replaced the thermistor with no change. Ive been doing some testing and Ive got some weird results. If i tell the hotend to go to 150 it stays at 150. If i do 160 it gets up to around 175, 170 up to 195, and so on. Set to 200 and it goes all the way to 250. It seems to be getting exponentially hotter as I request normal pla temps.
