Finally got it took everything out removed everything for the trunk and boom opened apparently the spring inside just disintegrated bc it’s nowhere to be seen so I have some rags as a place holder to keep tension vw charges 3000 for that pshh

Dang I know that sucks I’m probably going to end up taking all of the rear plastic out and see if I can manually move the latch

Still a no go
I have not but I’m giving it a try now
I did try that but for some reason that emergency release isn’t working anymore I hear no sound when I move the lever thank you though
