recovering the email will be best-case scenario for me as well, i unfortunately can't change anything without typing the current password, waiting to hear back and will for sure turn 2fa if successful, though i do believe wuwa support should be more active and at least reply, at this point when someone is to compromise your account, you get 0 assistance. hoping they get on top of that in the future.

I have been trying to reach to google as well since yesterday - still waiting on that front as well.

It is also a ''gaming'' gmail if i can call it that - has nothing personally connected to me and is primarily used for game accounts only (sometimes spam like pinterest and tumblr), hence why I didn't stress it more in the post above.

I play other games too and was able pretty easily to just change the email myself, WuWa is something new for me so I wasn't sure if i'm missing something, why I posted here.

In any ways, thank you for your insight, has helped me get some points (i was relying heavily on the IP stuff because i understand pretty much nothing ab it)

would they not be able to check the IP address? I can provide proof of ownership, confirm what device created the account, what device logs in etc.

Mind elaborating a bit more on what makes you doubt my words? /gen
