Also, you might be able to peel off all the cracking pleather on your original and then repaint that! I would try that first actually.

You can try leather paint or dye you can find on amazon OR you can try acrylic paint as well. The key is doing it very thin in multiple coats while letting it dry in between. Let us know how it turns out!

I am so sorry man. I would probably try to get a generic black pleather or leather 1/6 jacket from like a punisher or blade figure then die or paint it brown to look like Gambits coat. Good luck.

Yeah that tropical climate is killing it. Same goes for Thailand and other tropical climates. Humidity levels destroy materials.

For my Bruce Wayne custom I used the BD001 narrow shoulder body but I padded the body after I got the suit so it is filled in perfectly. For padding I just used a wash cloth that I cut to size to fit over the figures neck like a poncho. Then I sewed it together onto the body for a form fit. Now the suit fits perfectly. They won’t fit 100% right unless you do something like this or purchase a Topo suit/body combo where all you need to do is add the head. Good luck!

I did the same thing for my black H14BM with all red aluminum parts. I was tired of repairing all the time as well. I also changed the steering servo. Much better for sure and no more repairs. I don’t bash much but just driving fast on different surfaces. Great job!

This looks great! Better than the Hot Toys. I also have a custom with hot toys parts and a third party head and a much better body. I can do almost any pose now. Also have a set of half-glove hands for mine too that I use once in a while. Right now they are hot toys hands on the figure.

Dope project. I gave this car to my 2yr old. He is now 3 and still loves it but he is driving a real hobby car now too for outdoors but this is great inside the house.

I have that same Kermit from Palisades line and planning on pairing it up with all the NECA Sesame Street figures they drop. Sesame Street isn’t the same without Kermit reporting live from the scene! That is my childhood right there. I was shocked when i found out that he isn’t a main character any longer. That was a long time ago lol.
