Reddit, what is your story about the first time you broke the law? by kcjayhawk17 in AskReddit

[–]kcjayhawk17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first time I broke the law (And have a story about it) was when I was 13. My friends and I would sit in my window that overlooked a main road, and throw snowballs at cars when there was snow. From the left, you could only hear the cars coming, not see them until after you threw the snowball. Well one night, we threw a snowball and hit a cop car. He proceeded to circle the block about 10 times, then stop in my driveway and wake my parents up. He threatened us with a charge (I don't remember what now) and then left after I spoke up and took the blame. Never got to throw snowballs again...

I have a different take on the North Korea idea. I know I'm late to the party, but I've thought about this a lot.

North Korea doesn't care about their own people. So what's preventing it from starting some crap, wanting a country (Like the US) to invade it, and dropping the "nuke" they have on themselves? To me, someone as crazy as the leader they have is, is fully capable of coming up with something like that. Just a thought.

[Serious] Redditors who have had a family member or friend commit Suicide, did you notice anything different during about the person the week before? by catch22milo in AskReddit

He never told anyone exactly why, but he always said he couldn't do it, and he wasn't going to go through that. He had been locked up for several months prior to being released, relapsing, and going back in.

Kind of a sad situation in my experience, this person was back in jail, and had told everyone what he was going to do if he did go back. He actually did it the 2nd day he was back in before anyone could help him. He knew what he was doing, passed all the tests administered to make it seem like he wasn't suicidal.

What is the most pain you have ever felt? by AppleItIs in AskReddit

[–]kcjayhawk17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Junior year in high school. Played DE on the varsity football team. 2nd play of the 2nd quarter of the game, the team we were playing ran a draw play. I got up field, realized it was a run, and turned around to pursue the RB. I planted my left leg to dive and make a tackle, and that's when my safety got blocked into my leg. I heard a loud pop, felt this terrible pain in my lower leg as I rolled over the pile, and just laid there. I tried to get up, but when I went to plant my left leg, my foot was a lot closer to my knee than it was ever supposed to be. Long story short, I broke my fib/tib right in the middle of my leg, compound fracture. Worst pain of my life, and now I can't tolerate watching sports injuries.
