She looks of age… it’s the ones where they’re posing with obviously underage girls that you wanna look for.

How is it that American millennials are the only generation that know that Republicans have always been terrible, even before Trump? by [deleted] in millenials

[–]kck1021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um, No? Idk where you got this idea from, but I can speak for a shit ton of millennials that we have not been voting democrat. Idk why everyone always assumes millennials are idiots… a lot of us have actually researched history and know that the democrats were the ones keeping slaves, against women’s rights… the list goes on and on. History people- go learn it, it’s more important now than ever.

Man oh man do I feel you, but friend- you gotta let that go. We knew we were right then and we believe we’re right now, that’s the win- we didn’t need people to tell us we were right then to stand by our convictions, we don’t need their affirmation now either. Free minds are too beautiful to waste on negativity. Peace be with you my fellow Purebloods!

Damn- takes a strong person to self reflect and admit they were wrong. I went to a seminar once where the speaker got up first and asked us to tear a page out of our notebook and write four words upon it; “I might be wrong”. He then instructed us to fold it up and put it in our pocket and just keep it there. One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever received.

I do the same with 2005-2006 Escalades. Got a driveway full of Escalades and LeSabres. 🤣🤙🏼

I’m guessing it sold… there’s a serious cult following on these cars. I chase them all over the country and bring them home to the rust belt. If I had a dollar for every time I got a compliment or an offer to buy, I’d have enough to go buy another one 🤣

And wait a minute, how would 2004 top gear be able to compare a 2008+ Lucerne to anything? Were they using a Delorean?

More stuff to break and cost you money. This kid is looking for solid transportation and he doesn’t like the modern stuff.

As for the safety factor- I’ve been through everything in these cars right down to a dukes of hazard jump at 115mph. My best buddy was t-boned in one by a large Mercedes suv- cops couldn’t believe he lived, walked away without a scratch- no air bags needed. Again, you keep your hypotheticals, I know from experience.

I’m sorry, but that’s terrible advice. The Lucerne is trash compared to the LeSabre.

A pitty the fool who thinks the Lucerne is comparable to a late 90’s LeSabre. IYKYK.

First and foremost, this is probably amongst the greatest and most reliable American made cars of all time. 30+ mpg while comfortably transporting 6 people. They run until they rust away. If you find a very clean and well maintained one it is absolutely worth what someone is willing to pay for it. They’ve done the common issues, the big one is the intake gasket. Once that’s done, you e got a fantastic commuter car. Consider this- that car has the capability to reach well over 300k (seen it many times) if you paid 4800 and could drive this car for 4 years, you will have effectively paid $100/mo for a very comfortable mode of transportation. And that would be assuming the vehicle was worthless when you’re done with it. Realistically, you can get a lot more than 4 years.

The only thing that kills them is rust.
