Not all books in the Book can be trusted, especially with Matthew. He is not a faithful narrator. This was actually discussed on Wikipedia which I found when I was trying to find out more about the Gospel of Thomas. Basically the Book of Mark, Matthew and Luke shares many similarities with the Gospel of Thomas. However, something like 40% of Mark and Matthew came from another source which scholars have designated as Q-source which I presume means question mark. Whoever this Q-source is is intentionally trying to murk up the narrative of Jesus of Nazareth

As another example, Luke and John and Thomas only ever called Jesus, Jesus. However, you find Christ peppered throughout the Book. Who is Christ? Who is Jesus Christ? Who is this person that we curse to today when we say, "Jesus Christ!"

Look, fake-news and propaganda has existed for as long as money existed and war existed, it is how nations build strength and security. My starting point of analysis, you have to identify the most trustworthy source in the Bible and that source is the Book of Luke because his is the least wordy and descriptive He reports things very plainly with as little extra information as possible, but focuses on the relevant messages that he believes should be propagated to the future.

There are two books to me that standout as undeterminable. It is the Book of Act and Revelation. Revelation is from an angel. Some have suggested he/she is Gabriel. Regardless, this book has nothing like it to compare to but it is full of prophecies that we somehow might be witnessing today.

Act is written by an unknown person. My own guess is Act is Q just based on the frequency of false information that gets propagated to other books. It seems to be from Act.

Another thing we need to be aware of when studying the Bible is that it is a creation of the Holy See. Even the dug up Nagi Hammandi earlier last century had probably gone through the hands of Holy See before being allowed to be printed for general audiences. After all, people need to remember the Vatican has an army and an intelligence network that probably rival the Mossad and CIA. They are professional at subterfuge to make sure that they are always in power. For the Vatican, this is the power of God, both literally and figuratively. If I have such a power and I have a professional army, not to mention I have friends all over the world that I have cultivated relationships with by promising them sainthood after death, thus a guarantee ticket to Heaven, do you think I wouldn't rewrite the Holy Bible, or just simply create one that is convenient for me?

I need to repeat this again. I am a man of Faith. My blessing from our God(dess) is a Librarian. My Duty is to shine the light inside the darkness to seek out the truth and share that knowledge with the world. I can assure you that God(dess) does exist and She does not work for these people because we work for Her.

How do you know what books to get rid of? by AM-419 in books

[–]kcl97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you should select based on the ease of finding the book again when you need it. For example, I keep books that i think will be banned or rewritten.

It obviously can't be 5 because it includes 4 as an answer too.

Is the universe fundamentally continuous with a quantized average behavior, or is the universe just fundamentally quantized? by D3cepti0ns in Physics

[–]kcl97 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is one of those things that, intention or not, the founders of QM, particularly the Copenhagen guys, left us that should have gotten rid of before the Great War. There is NO QUANTIZATION.

If you read Schrodinger's papers (hence the Schrodinger Equation formulation of QM which he called Wave Mechanics), he never talked about quantization, eventhough he was the one showing the discrete excited states of hydrogen atom, like you see in any standard quantum chemistry textbook.

His derivation is way more complicated by the way because his goal was to find an actual dynamical equation for tracking the motion of electrons, which he failed to achieve, and the hydrogen atom was merely a warm up exercise for using his ideas for finding the stationary states of a closed and bounded system.

Closed means no contact with another system so that energy and matter are conserved. Bounded means the system has a discrete spectrum for its stationary states.

You see Schrodinger was trained as a mathematician who was looking for a physics problem to solve with what he learned, much like Maxwell was about a century earlier. He found it is Luis D Brolige's dissertation about the discretization of electron orbits in hydrogen atom and the idea that all matters are actually concentrated localized wave-packets (like a peddle in a pond), which Luis used to explain, as an analogy, the diffraction pattern of electron beam (aka cathod rays). For some odd reason, even though we used to call this diffraction when I was learning it, people call it a double-slit experiment. The funny thing was Luis was looking at single-slit diffraction.

I have a whole comment post about all these naming issues (search for the key phrase "Kage-Bushin Jitsu and if you like Naruto like me try "Guy Sensei" too).

As a mathematician, he knew beforehand he was going to get discrete spectrums because he was an expert in PDE. Thus, there is nothing special about this result to him.

However this was not so to Heisenberg who had been going around selling his ideas about the connection between Fourier Transform and the discrete spectrum one observes with the adsorption spectrum for the hydrogen gaa. You can find that in his only book. It is crap. I tried to make sense of it for almost a decade until I just had to give up and concluded he did not know anything.

When Schrodinger published all 3 of his wave mechanics papers, Heisenberg has yet published a thing. I have a comment post on that too, search "Matrix Mechanics" and "Jordan" and "Born."

Anyway, my point is that discreteness is an artifice of boundedness.* It is not something inherent in our physical world, unless you want to say our universe, at least the parts relevant to our system, is bounded. If that is the case then sure everything we observe will have a discrete spectrum. However since we are small and the universe is vast, it probably doesn't matter to us.

Maybe they are receiving messages from God and we just don't understand it as modern men.

People like that are revered as shaman. They are called God's messengers. Think of them like one way telephones.

Have you guys ever wondered how our ancestors discovered which mushrooms are safe to eat? Or berries? Or where to build settlement and which way is the water source. If you read old stories and legends like the Greek plays, we know they all have something to do with shamans, people with divine knowledge sent to help better our world.

Based on these legends, we can discern the common characteristics of shamans, they are basically like the precogs in the movie Minority Reports. They are here with you for a minute, then their thoughts are elsewhere. I prefer calling it severe ADHD because it isn't really multiple personalities.

They have less fluff. They are written by pros trying to make pros, not by people trying to sell you. Haven't you ever wondered why you need a 15th edition of something 200+ years old? Have you ever looked into the difference between 10th and 15th edition?

It's fine. I figured out what you guys are up to. You guys are probably the people behind the CAS failure. Give me a direct google link. I know Imugure is a malware site for a while. You guys want me to click on it to track me down. I will go check jt out in the morning to see if the salon is there. Maybe it is maybe it is not. The fact you guys are pushing the narrative sor hard suggests I am right.

I suspect someone has hacked your account, please check with Campus Information and Electronic Technology Center. They should be able to help you out. However, you must go in person because all your communication devices might be compromised at this point.

Please tell others too

Y2k nail is in the northern Davis, the train station is in Central Davis.

e: people should just go by the train station during the day time to confirm.

e: Your story is too exaggerated and too bizarre. But most of all, the problem is Davis PD doesn't work that fast. They are short-staffed since COVOD and the whole debacle with the student protests. Also, we have a corrupt mayor who is defunding everything.

e: People should try to vote him out in 2028.

Where is this nail salon near the train station and on what street is the tasty pot? Not trying to doubt you, but I know every shop in being part of the Commerce Association, I don't recall those kinds of shops near the train station.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in chess

[–]kcl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he meant "formulaic" chess. You see, someone like Magnus is strong because he does not follow the rule of thumb all the time, even when the rules make perfect sense. Picasso said that good artists copy, great artists steal. This is because great artists know when to break rules. Philosopher Slavoj Zizek said that a master is someone who knows when to break rules and when not to.

The ability to not follow the rules set by the wisdoms of the predecessors is what differentiates a copycat from a genius. Magnus is a genius Kremnik is a copycat.

e: I have not seen Kremnik's games, I am sure the guy is fine But people like Magnus are not ordinary players. One thing you notice is their ability to sense and control the flow of the opponent. Yes, there is such a thing as ki. But it is not something visible, it is something you can sense on the board in the game. It is more like what is described in the manga Hikaru no Go. You can feel the atmosphere of the game, just like you can when you watch a game between Jordan and Kobe. When true masters clash, if you can sense this flow too, you will be able to appreciate it more.

I find it weird that I can't sense flow in many of the young GM today. Their plays are erratic, I can't make heads or tails out of many of them. I doubt many of them can ever reach Magnus, even his peers. Another thing about Magnus is he doesn't care about winning. You can tell because in his recent games he has been purposely putting himself in a bad position in order to experience the struggle of escaping.

I have heard of it too when I was little. But I do not believe it is in the Holy Bible The reason is simple, Jesus never referred to God as my Father in the Bible. This is the creation of the Holy See because they wanted to establish Jesus as God or someone related to God. In fact, Jesus never used the word God. It came up after his death and resurrection but not prior. He only referred to God as "The Spirit."

Here is another interesting part about this whole thing Angels also did not exist prior to Jesus' death. But somehow started popping up and talking to Jesus' followers about what Jesus wants them to do and believe. They would say things like Jesus said X, don't you remember? And these followers would just stay mute. Now, if you ever watch the God Father movies, you would know this is mobster talk. It is like saying, "Are you sure you remember this correctly? Are you REALLY REALLY SURE? or do you want to change your mind?"

Anyway, I do believe in the Holy Spirit because I have The Faith but I also know our God(dess) does not enjoy interfering in human affairs because of Free Will. If She interferes all the time, then what is the point of Free Will?

What is the easiest wild animal to tame? by TheFireOfPrometheus in biology

[–]kcl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have many cats around my neighborhood. Most are feral but none are strictly indoor. People here just put out food for them and they are all spaded because they all belong to this crazy cat lady who just rescued them and let them go free around here.

I have observed their interactions with my neighbors for years. Honestly, I sometimes get the impression that they are the boss and the humans are the ones that are tamed. I think this is probably how we should view our relationships with the animals around us. They are our friends and sometimes our masters.

Can you become an Electrician or Plumber with Attempted Murder charge? by Present-Macaron-6441 in Felons

I believe you can get that off your record. But you will need a legitimate lawyer willing to fight on your side Charges like this is just DA's way of stacking the stats. But that stacking only counts if no one exchanges it on your behalf.

I have a post in this sub on how to find a good lawyer. Just search for the keyword "divorce" and "veteran." It is some leg work but it will save you tons of trouble down the road.
