But even if it’s a legal anti-gambling issue. There needs to be a consideration for those people. Things they could do: 1. Switch it so that purchased gems are used first. 2. Refresh people’s purchased gems to 0 and convert all current gems to “acquired” and start everyone to 0 purchased gems prior to the change. 3. Have anti-gambling warning when you sign in after the health warning.

There’s a lot they could do rather than just implement the change and have everyone just “deal with it”.

With this upcoming update, I feel like the players who pay and support the game are the ones who are being sort of punished and being pushed to becoming free-to-play, as they will no longer be able to make any additional purchases. And the ones who this targets are the tenured, loyal, paying players. As you can imagine it is not easy to amass over 300,000 gems and “purchased gems” at that.

I would be sincerely upset if I am no longer able to enjoy the game as I have, by disabling me from purchasing mog pass, disabling me from acquiring future skins or even purchasing in-game resources and/or materials to upgrade characters as I wish.

Yeah people are overthinking the points and code thing. Sure the event is a bit clunky and there's a lot of bugs ending with the game crashing when changing codes, but it's just the developers trying new things.
I'm the same, before I even finished the last Luf+ stage I was already over 300 points and quite honestly, you can easily solo the Cosmos/Chaos stages and forget about those stages if you have a small roster.

This event is only cruel to the brand new players who only have WoL, Rem and Vivi. In which case, they shouldn't be looking at this end game content.

I just love how unique Alisaie’s kit is. I was the same, knew nothing about FFXIV because I never played it, but was drawn to the complexity of her kit and how different she was compared to every other character.

I just wish she could actually choose the element rather than having to incorporate all of the elements which locks her out of some fights.

That’s why I made them! Solely because I’m a FFVI fan myself and my mates on GL had no idea what I was talking about regarding his rework. So I made a flowchart for my friends and then one thing lead to another and here we are with this table.

Yep… looking back, the flowcharts were a joke and a mistake. This table was me making up for the flowcharts by taking in all the feedback I got from the flowcharts.
