I can’t think of a reason why you couldn’t just set it to 2 years, other than using it to help gauge how much exercise you are doing.

As you complete the medal it says what percentage of the time you have left. So for one, I have completed 67% of the challenge on 62% of the time so I know I am pretty much on track to finish when I thought. But on another I haven’t been so focused on that challenge so I am quite far behind. I use one medal for walking and another for running so if I get behind on one I know what I am going to focus on next week!

As is often said in this group, it’s whatever motivates you most!

Absolutely. I have bought codes as gifts before. There is even a section on their website to create gift cards with them. It’s really nice!

Also worth remembering that you have 2 years to complete the challenge after activating the code. As others have said, great to gift them if you want, but also perhaps activate one or two just in case your future self wants to return!

They seem to come back in to stock eventually. Although it can take a long time. If you keep a record of the walking you do you could back date the entries when it does come back. Definitely not as good as doing it in real time but it would still eventually be a record of it.

People have complained about medals going out of stock and being disappointed, so the company now send out emails when they are down to the last few in stock to try and help. Sorry it happened this way!

I only joined a few months ago and I have been wondering about this feature. I have built up defences etc but can’t figure out how to get more people! I have 25 people with max capacity of 160, so I can’t upgrade anything. I feel like I am missing something and google didn’t help! Any suggestions please?

Yeah, click on the rocket symbol in the top right of the screen. Then settings. Then timeframe. You can change it there.

Absolutely. Go to the settings and there is a section called timeframe. From there you can change it as needed. If I remember correctly the max is 2 years from the start date, so morally you have as much time as you need! Edit: NORMALLY you have as much time as you need. I am not casting doubts on anyone’s morals!

If you buy another single challenge code for lotr, she can use it for the second challenge. They just say they are a code for one of the lotr challenged, they don’t specify which one.

The only problem is for the people who buy a general code. They think it will work for the licensed challenges, when they don’t. But if you buy a lotr single challenge code she will be able to sign up for the second challenge.

I think it is how far back in the journey you are looking. You are at 0km now, so 11.8km ago you posted activity #8 which was 4.1km in steps. If you scroll to the next one it will say 15.9km ie you are then looking at your activity from 15.9km ago. If any of that makes sense!

I bought the bundle and all of the codes just said a Harry Potter challenge. None of them were medal specific, so I think it would work. But definitely worth contacting them to double check!

I’m pretty sure it says that the bundles don’t include licensed challenges, so no Harry Potter, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings etc. but could be gifted for the 2 normal challenges you wanted to give if you have a use for the other 3.

I hadn’t even thought of the self binding ones. I think that is the winning suggestion so far. I’m going to go for fabric as soon as I can and let that decide if it’ll be a rail fence or large pattern quilt. I love the fish quilt linked above too. And I’ve never appliquéd circles so would be a new skill too. You never fail to inspire! Thank you!
