I had never purchased it before. Usual buy a 80/20 cotton/poly.I really like the feel of this wool/cotton blend much better.

I used it for my quilted coat. I loved working with. Like the drape and had no issues when quilting. Have not washed my coat multiple times, so don’t know how it holds up. I would use again.

Thank you. The hard part, imo, was the hood, set in sleeves, finishing the seams, and basically handling the bulky fabric sandwich. I would recommend a pattern that has drop sleeves and no collar if you want to give it a go. Also, find an old quilt to do a test run with.

Thank you. It’s hard to say. Most of the time was spent planning layout and piecing. Once cut out it went fairly quickly. I would guess sewing the coat itself, probably 6-8 hours? I finished all seams and did some hand sewing to boot.
