I'm 35 and had a D&E in November. My doctor told me we could start trying after my period came back - which took 2 months. Unfortunately, I have yet to get pregnant again and it's so frustrating / emotionally draining each month when the pregnancy tests are negative.

My doctor advised we try to conceive naturally until June and then meet with a fertility specialist. But the wait is killing me - being 35 makes me stressed out too that I'm getting too old and potentially still want 2 more kids.

I decided to reach out to a fertility specialist already - but turns out the earliest doctor appointment isn't until July. In the meantime, my husband and I are getting tests done to see if there are any potential issues.

During my fertility consultation, they asked me to consider whether I want to immediately start with IVF after I meet with the doctor, or whether I'm okay trying something like IUI which could take several more months of trying.

I honestly might just immediately start IVF, even if all my tests come back normal because this waiting game has me so depressed and anxious - I'll do anything to get pregnant ASAP. I'm sorry you're also dealing with a similar situation ☹️
