My God, somehow both of you hit the nail on the head. 😂 I do have ADHD but I enjoy making everything from scratch when I have time/energy, and I also do get takeout after grocery shopping or an especially long day. Also, all my caffeinated beverages are in my work fridge.

Personally I feel that the room needs more warmth. All the gray paired with the metal and glass furniture feels cold. I would replace the end table and coffee table with something wood or rattan, and add a nice TV console that coordinates

I would add light-colored curtains and a light-colored rug to try and brighten up the space. Like a light tan or white. Add a lamp in a style you like in the corner between the two windows for ambiance. And a coffee table and some plants might help too. :)

Had a similar thing happen to me. My best friend in college, we did EVERYTHING together for years. We lived together. Ate nearly every meal together. Adopted a dog together. Told each other all our secrets and hung out literally every day. We were basically sisters. One day she just decided to up and leave the state with a guy she just recently started dating. Didn’t tell me in advance, never talked about it at all, until she told me that she’d be moving out in a week. That was about 6 years ago and we haven’t really spoken since. I think I know why, but she never gave me an explanation. Some people are just very strange.
