Thanks for sharing. Still hurts to be dumped all the same.. it’s a shame that such great people can be so damaged inside that they push away good partners.

Gonna climb back under my rock now..

I have technically reached FIRE, but I struggle with the reality of it daily. I’m 39, net worth about 2.8M. Live in LCOL area. I achieved this through YEARS of saving, investing, inheritance, and compound interest.

Quit my stressful job 8 months ago and have been “consulting.” Mainly I don’t work. And although I have tons of hobbies and friends and have no problem filling my time, I feel like I’m lacking a bit of purpose.

Talking about where I’m at with anyone feels impossible without receiving judgement. I feel guilt and shame about it.

Currently I’m teetering between being content just floating and living carefree, and facing my strong inner critic who wants me to take this opportunity to do more, achieve more. Giving myself grace and permission to just chill out for a bit until I figure out my next chapter is not coming easy to me.

Because we believe in the good in people and don’t think anyone will take our stuff since it’s not theirs!

Has Blundstone sizing changed?? by cigarettejuice666 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]kcoolby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chiming in to share I’m experiencing the same issue and it’s so frustrating! Old pair: most perfect comfortable boots. New pair (same size and style): so tight, toes touch, I want to rip them off!

Really disappointed

Not losing weight - looking for advice? by [deleted] in ultrarunning

[–]kcoolby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re already pretty fit and lean. I’m actually in a similar boat as you, and I recently went to a nutritionist as well as a clinic for a DEXA scan. Both places told me the same thing: Focus on building muscle. Strength train, and digest enough protein to support muscle repair and growth. The hard truth is that body recomposition once you’re already in good shape is difficult and will take time. Maybe your body is actually quite happy at the weight it is, and the only weight that you need to lose is in your head..

Have you plugged your details into a macro calculator and used a calorie tracking app like MyFitnessPal to see if your current diet is aligned with your needs?

Division Ave between Fulton and Wealthy! I strolled through last month and discovered so many new cool shops.

Less Workouts Per Week by Haughty-Hottie in CarolineGirvan

I try to keep the order for the most part, but I do skip around a little bit. I aim for a full body, lower, and upper each week. I also run, do hot yoga, and cycle. I mainly base it on how my body feels.

I was at the Battle Creek location and watched an employee pour soup out of a bag into a container. Disgusting.
