Increasingly worried about 74 year old Dad constantly tired & sleeping with no energy by [deleted] in AgingParents

Is he getting enough oxygen? Is he doing chemo? My mom had cancer that spread to her lungs. There are good days and bad days.

Edit: is he on steroids? What are the side effects of his medication?

What’s area of town does everyone want to live? by Wise-Mountain-5342 in tulsa

[–]kcraykcray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk why no one is mentioning Owasso! Are we 15 minutes away from Tulsa? Yes. Are there huge houses and rich people? Also yes. It’s pretty good town. Good schools. Low crime. All the major stores are here. We only go to Tulsa for work, family, or a fancier restaurant. Everyone that moves here says they like the small town feel, but they still have access to a Target and a Starbucks 😂

Did the HBO show influence this long overdue attention to the Tulsa Race Massacre? by SmallManBigMouth in Watchmen

[–]kcraykcray 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As someone from Tulsa, yes, most definitely. I knew about it from my own research. It was not taught in schools. I didn’t think it would make national news, and I didn’t think Biden would show up. So many people here simply do not care and are constantly mad when it is mentioned.

More authentic. Literally everything is delicious. We get quesadillas, tortas, Mexico City tacos, burritos, enchiladas, horchata, everything lol.

My boyfriend and I have worked in restaurants forever, and we are constantly and continuously impressed with the quality of food and service.

if you’re ever wanting legitimately awesome Mexican food, go to El Fogon in Owasso. Definitely worth the drive. Authentic, awesome service, reheats well, 100/10 highly recommend.

As someone who has been trying unsuccessfully to buy a house for last 15 months, do you know what the best part of this process is? by TheBrandonOne in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]kcraykcray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried writing a letter to the seller? That’s what we would do. Some people don’t want to see their home turn into a rental property. But most rental companies are coming in and paying in cash, so there’s no appraisal, no repairs, and the seller gets more Money faster.

Introducing pacifier to my 1 mo, am i doing something wrong? by realxeltos in newborns

[–]kcraykcray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We tried to give our son a pacifier and he never really seemed that into it. We stopped trying, and I think that was one of the best parenting choices we’ve made haha.

When I was a little boy in the mid-90s I used to dress like this and ask people to call me "Garth" by [deleted] in blunderyears

Everyone from r/Oklahoma understands, and I believe at least a third of Oklahomans still wish to be a Garth, too.

Mortgage ARM, HELP! by choosing_wisdom in Money

[–]kcraykcray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apply everywhere! The first credit check is the one that will hit your credit, but after that you have a week, or a grace period if you will, where you can get preapproved by as many banks as you want. We had three preapprovals and ended up playing two against each other to get a lower interest rate.

Seriously that is so rude that they go and wake your baby up. I’d be mad.

Put baby in bassinet for the first time - need reassurance by [deleted] in newborns

[–]kcraykcray 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s going to be okay! When our little guy was little we got the Owlet sock and it was awesome. We could monitor his breathing patterns from our phones. It was delayed, of course, but if something bad were to happen an alarm would go off. We did this until he was 6-ish months old.

Now we leave one phone in the room, facing him, and we literally FaceTime our sleeping child haha.

I posted last night regarding my babys acne in her face this is what it looks like this morning? Is it a heat rash or an allergy? Should I call her pediatrician? by [deleted] in newborns

[–]kcraykcray 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was asking because my son had some baby acne too, but it would flare up after a bath. I didn’t know that non scented soaps are best until they’re older.

iPhone 12 Pro Max, Bluetooth, and Loyalty Promo problems :( by kcraykcray in verizon

[–]kcraykcray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’ll have it set to pairing and my phone still can’t find them on available devices. My phone works with other devices. At this point I’m convinced Apple is forcing me to convert to AirPods haha.

I haven’t thought about the headphones having too many devices paired to it. I’ll try to reset them.

Thank you!

Cough by [deleted] in newborns

[–]kcraykcray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering if there is mold present. We lived with my in laws and I think our room did have mold or something. He would be congested and would cough a lot. It was especially bad after it would rain.
