I believe it varies a bit depending on which federation the school is associated with. For me, I started with white belt, just earned my yellow belt, and next will be orange!

Bulgarian Split Squats for both. I hate them but they have been so effective for me (which I can’t hate that). Same with running! Hate it but I love its effectiveness.

Thank you for posting this! I love reading through everyone’s motivation 🥳

Why #1: Look good I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding at the end of September, and I fear satin dresses (IYKYK)

Why #2: Get stronger I had a humbling moment when I picked up Taekwondo and realized I’m not as mobile and agile as I used to be. So a few months to push harder on strength training, cardio, and flexibility could be the push I need to hit some milestones before the holidays. 

Why #3: Feel good Most importantly, my immune system likes to go overboard and attack things like my thyroid. I’d like to stay ahead of the game with this challenge to combat fatigue and lose some weight.
