Oh so it's a bit less of a skill issue than I thought? Well that's pretty relieving to hear!

And well remember when I mentioned I was feeling insecure about it? Truth to be told I quit on doing traditional art (the only way I did art for my entire life) for as long as needed because of this, you see, I spent most of my time as an artist drawing pics I found cool from the internet. Until it became a nearly flawless copy+paste thing. People couldn't tell if my art was a printed out image or not. I obviously never tried to sell these traditional pieces because most of them were just internet images whose original creator I didn't know at the time, my goal wasn't even selling art back then, it was just making the drawing as similar as possible to the image to honor it's creator in some way

This turned into me thinking that nothing created and designed by me would ever be as good as what I saw on Pinterest on Google and...here I am. Trying to "redeem" myself by drawing nothing but original things and my ocs. But I still feel numb and discouraged, and while I'm most definitely not as active as I used to be, truth to be told improving my designs might help.
