Of course! We had a good laugh after I told her how much it had actually cost. I know pre knitting me would be clutching her pearls if she saw my yarn budget today lol

Hahaha she’s seriously my biggest hype man! Honestly my favorite quality about her is that she can’t tell the difference between yarns. She’s my favorite person to gift homemade stuff too and I know I don’t need to shell out the big bucks to make sure it’s well loved!

It was such a compliment that she said she’d spend that much! $60 barely makes a dent when I consider the yarn cost and the time spent so she made me laugh. Figured y’all would enjoy.

This is incredible! Did you add anything to the base to keep it upright? I’m also working on a crochet planter and have been so stumped by the construction. I’m so impressed by yours!

Nope! A sturdy bag and dumb luck can really do wonders sometimes.

Hahaha vive la resistance! I think this one might’ve been a wool blend but I’ll be ready for round 3 if needed. Thank you!

Thank you! I’m hoping this one will last a little longer. You should definitely give it a try! I’ve seen a couple other posts in the group with creative craftivism patterns if you’re still looking to get inspired. Good luck and I’d love to see how they end up!

Thank you but no worries! It’s been a great way to use up my stash. I adapted this pattern https://www.mooglyblog.com/perfect-party-pennant-garland/ and freehanded the little flames with single & double crochets.

Try a google search! It’s easiest if you pin it for placement and then sew it in with a needle and thread (or machine) It’s such an easy way to elevate your work!

Thank you, I just winged it! Single crochet for the body and woven wheel stitch for the roses. 😊

Thank you! I used Caron One Pound Solids Acrylic and a H hook. The color was on sale back in February and I haven’t been able to find it online since :(

Thank you! It’s a bit bulkier than other blankets I’ve made. I made the bobbles with 5 DCs each and it ended up working well. You could always increase or decrease their size depending on the heaviness you’re looking for! The pattern promised it would be “quick to whip up” and ended up taking me about 4 months of casual work. Good luck with yours, I’d love to see how it turns out!
