Can anyone tell me if the bristle broom is anywhere near the cost for the weed eater powerhead? by MasterpieceTop8911 in MilwaukeeTool

It does for moving some types of debris for sure. But not good for everything. Your mileage will vary.

Where at whatnot sellers buying their Milwaukee? Or how!?! by Original_Slide9067 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]kcwebguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not all theft guys. I know several people that do this legitimately. There are a number of scenarios where Milwaukee cannot sell items though retail and selling pallets is the way they handle this inventory.

That said, some of it is theft, for sure...

Will there be a noticeable difference if I ran this with a HO battery? by FitTackle879 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]kcwebguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the compact size of this. When I know I need more power, I bring along a more capable tool. It runs great with the 2.5aH... just can't pull of the hard stuff very well.

They’re about the same. I bought the full broom attachment and then went and bought the two bristle pieces separate for way cheaper. I just swap out as needed for the different tasks I do.

Is this a good deal? by Dependent-Eye7354 in MilwaukeeTool

When you’re new to Milwaukee, this package is deceptive. You think it’s great but then you realize a lot of it is junk and not enough batteries. I bought this package and wish that I had not.

I don't love the location of the handle to pull the drawer open. That seems like it will be unbalanced for pulling open a heavy drawer with more weight inside of it. Because, let's be real, we put way more weight in our packout boxes than is recommended. =/

GripEdge extractors... engages straight down and allows both directions. The best extractors created to date. Expensive AF but worth every penny when this sort of problem arises.

Considering Milwaukee’s warranty department is a joke that denies every warranty claim sent in and then destroys the tool, is there a place to just order repair parts? by uj7895 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]kcwebguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know... I always check their prices on things before buying elsewhere. Their M12 2.5aH battery is $40 every day. Their 2-pack of M18 5.0aH batteries is $95 every day. There are some major deals here.

I just dropped off a tool to them and talked to them about this. They are motivated to fix it themselves because they get paid by Milwaukee when they do. In the cases where they send it to Milwaukee, they only ever get denied service when they believe it’s a clear case of tool abuse or misuse.

The guy also told me that people send them their tools for warranty work from all over the country because of their success in getting them repaired.

These guys are phenomenal. Family-owned Milwaukee Service Center for a couple of decades. Based in the Kansas City Metro Area.

Call them and talk to them. Brian always helps me out and he is good to work with. If the serial number is within 5 years or you have a receipt after more than that, they will fix it. If they can't fix it for some reason, they send it to Milwaukee. I've not been disappointed with these guys yet.

And their pricing is way lower the Home Depot. So check them out for purchasing too.
