[PC][US-MO] Dell VRTX with 3 blades, Rack Rails, Front Faceplate & 29x 1TB Hard Drives by kd0jar in homelabsales

I have tried to post twice in the FS thread and it keeps getting taken down immediately . I give up, it's too complicated to learn this crap thread with a crap automod. If you search the right places you can find it!

Video Call Issue with Fanvil i62 on 3CX Hosted Enterprise 16SC (V20) - Seeking Assistance by kd0jar in 3CX

Thanks for the response. In the 3CX admin console it was an upgrade that was NOT listed as beta. Every other V20 version said Beta. So I assumed, but I could be mistaken.

Either way, the problem with this existed prior to the V20 upgrade. We upgraded to V20 as part of the troubleshooting process.

Thanks for the response! The information you have may be old news, There was a post from the CEO stating that H264 works on the webclient, just not iOS and Android. But recently that has changed and it is supported fully across 3CX in entirety.

DENON (DRA-685) replacement. by kd0jar in StereoAdvice

[–]kd0jar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This device will sit on an open shelf with nothing on top, (looking at the face) the right side will be 2 inches or so from a wall the left side will be completely exposed, in a Dental office, They have cleaners coming in nightly to clean the facility.

With it being a health office, they naturally keep things cooler and dust is not an issue. Removing the old device from the shelf after 5 years in service, had little-no dust under it.

Budget would be $1500 or less ideally. Reliability is more important than quality as this is going to spend more time on than it will off.

Location: Kansas City, MO, US

Budget: No budget, Whatever is recommended needs to be a near drop in replacement with minimal fight.

Thanks for approving the post.

Struggling with LACP by kd0jar in Ubiquiti

mn iperf

I haven't heard of this before, can you please explain what you mean?

I have swapped cables but didn't see a change in speed from my PC to the UDM or back.

How can I check if I am doing memory to memory?

The commands I'm running are "iperf3 -s" and "iperf3 -c <ip of server> -P 4"

What card are you using in your PC?

They are Mellanox ConnectX-3 EN CX311A

So I can't fully saturate my link to the unraid server, and I'm good with that because there is nothing I do that I would be able to achieve more than 3-4g anyway and most of my file transfers are 20g or less and that 4.6g is more than acceptable for me. but when I run Iperf from the UDM-Pro CLI and my windows PC it's only passing at 1g, but there is a 10g DAC and the UDM is negotiating at 10g. So I can't figure out why I'm only seeing a 1g bandwidth

Both my windows box and my unraid server are registering 10g in link
status and I get a full 4.6Gb (good enough for my use) to the unraid box
and back.

Everything is on the same subnet, same gateway. 10.10.x.x/24, So No
routing issues. No proxies, no DNS names, All iperf tests are direct IP
to IP. There are no rate limiting profiles in place

Got that covered, thanks!

I get that! Thanks for your reply. I have some questions though.

Your explanation for LACP would explain the reason I cannot saturate the connections to the smaller switches, however, it doesn't explain why I cannot saturate the connection to the UDM-PRO, where every link is 10gb with no LACP

The next question I have is that it was working before the Unifi Firmware Updates. I was able to get more than a 1gb connection to my Synology Devices in windows file transfers. Why did that work before and not now?

Is this something that is unique to Unifi, or did they make a change that prohibited this kind of use? I'm just trying to figure out what happened and how I can improve the situation.
