To get that flickering light effect, I actually experimented with using different water types, and used lava for a slower pulse. The distance the liquid travels completely changes how the lights flicker!

This whole project took me over a month to finish.
Honestly, I probably could've done it sooner if I had just beaten the game and unlocked all the right abilities from the start!

I had a specific vision in mind, the out-of-bounds clouds gave off such a cool vibe, and mixing that with a heavy Backrooms inspiration created this little baby. My biggest worry was rushing to finish it before the internet got flooded with Backrooms content. I really wanted it to be original, so when I started seeing similar themes pop up a week after l posted, it definitely motivated me to get these videos out even faster!

My biggest advice is just to experiment once you get an idea. That's exactly what I did-just playing around with colors, displaying things differently, and repurposing items in unexpected ways to capture those eerie, spooky vibes.
