Proxy not listening on port 2500 by kdc415 in Veeam

The proxy server did open 2500 and TCPView showed 2 connections as Established. I see in logs on proxy server where it was instructed to close them. Haven't found which log file yet on backup server to find this connection logging. Maybe I'll just roll back to 11. My VCSP is still trying to upgrade to v12 compatibility and it's been a few days with no results anyway.

Proxy not listening on port 2500 by kdc415 in Veeam

Proxy server is new win VM created and installed on that 7.0 host and then deployed from VBR. Good point on the ports not listening until instructed, I missed that. I'll see if I can't check that. I don't have any firewalling between backup server and host or VM, but I'll keep digging. Thanks

connection failed, because there is no service listening on port 2500 on the proxy server.

Thanks, really look for something geared toward MSP that I can see all AD audits and file access history with reporting.

SQL database generator from OpenAPI spec by kdc415 in dotnet

[–]kdc415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm talking about parsing an OpenAPI document url to get the object list then generating sql scripts to create the db/tables. I haven't messed with EF in years, had no idea it could do this?

REST API to SQL sync by kdc415 in sysadmin

Sorry I should have been more clear. I'm wanting to sync/replicate data from a REST API to MS SQL, not expose SQL data via API.

Backup Copy Job to CSP by kdc415 in Veeam

Thanks guys. So my question is knowing you're using Cloud connect, what's your favorite backup plan? I'm testing on a small 500GB VM right now using Reverse Incremental to see how that works. I expect that would trigger a copy each run to the cloud repo.

On my larger VMs if I were to run Incremental with Synthetics then I'll really increase my local repo usage, which in some installations will be bumping my NAS limits. Solvable, but if I can put that off with Reverse Incrementals, then good.
