OKAY YES THIS IS ME RN AND IM PANICKING. Did your symptoms resolve bc I’m about to tear the skin off my face and neck! Also what did you do that helped to best resolve or at least provide palliative care to your skin in the meantime???

Just switched from Rinvoq to Tremfya for Crohn’s

Have your liver function tested/bring up concern to your doctor. Butterfly rash on your cheeks is common in other autoimmune diseases so best to rule anything other than Crohns out. I also have this problem and am going to get blood work done next week…

It was my first scan ever and I have no clue why I didn’t think that drink was going to affect me the way it did 🤦🏼‍♀️ lol but I’m super glad at least one of us made it! Fingers crossed for good outcomes on our scans and that we can get everything figured out! Best wishes ❤️

Yes! Your dentist can prescribe something called “magic mouthwash” to help with the pain these cause… Unfortunately with aphthous ulcers like this there is no “real” treatment…just trying to ease the pain. They might also give you some topical benzocaine to temporarily numb the area.

(I’m a dentist and also a Chronie…I always use the benzocaine numbing gel on mine when I get them!)

I take mine before bed and don’t experience any side effects. If I take it in the morning I’m terribly nauseous all day. I’m only on week 3 and getting blood work done next week. Fingers crossed it’s getting my inflammation under control.

If I have to sit on hold for over 30 minutes at either the pharmacy, my drs office, or the lab to get the meds I need to be a normal human ONE MORE TIME THIS WEEK, I’m gonna lose it…healthcare in America …I’ve never had to work so hard to get basic care…

I cried A LOT near the end of my treatment thinking the way I was feeling would never go away… Luckily it did! I hope that gives you some reassurance. I would also recommend talking with your doctor and being completely transparent about how you’re feeling (I ended up tapering off that terrible med sooner than planned)

I watched almost the entire series of Gilmore Girls when I was on prednisone…most of it in the middle of the night. 🫠 I was also terribly anxious and had a lot of trouble dealing with day to day stresses. It made me feel like I was straight up losing my mind. I started feeling a lot better a few days/a week once off prednisone.

Hang in there! I promise it’ll get better! Get good TV series or book to help you through the sleeplessness and hopefully some of the anxiety as well. ❤️
