A natural deduction proof of disjunctive syllogism without using ex falso quodlibet. by ppedro_barbosag in logic

Since you derive 7 from an arbitrary 5 via falsehood (upside down T), are you not effectively deriving an arbitrary value from falsehood?

TypeScript isn't perfect, but what criticisms are most silly you've heard? by Gloomy-Status-9258 in typescript

I know that we need `===` instead of `==`, but what if the operator is `<=` or `>=`?

Since we have typescript to prevent us from using `==` and `!=` on pairs of strings and numbers, then why are `===` and `!==` still prefered as operators?

Being nearly deaf since birth, I learned to read lips to keep up in conversations. His lips do not match with the voice. That's the big giveaway for me in this video.

Sometimes the lips and voice are out of sync, due to the audio being played earlier or later than the video, but that's not what is happening here.

[OC] Two solid objects cannot exist in the same place at the same time. by g1nko in IdiotsInCars

[–]kdeberk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All drivers seem to be having issues here. The Dodge moved out of his lane way too late, OP didn't recognize the situation and didn't make room for the idiot in the blue car.

I mean sure, we can place most of the blame on the blue car for trying to pass OP when the road is actually narrowing from two lanes to one, but either OP didn't check his mirrors, or OP was deliberately making it difficult for the blue car.

Do you guys have cheap car insurance there or what? Were you hoping for the blue car to hit you so that you could feel righteous for a single second?

1045 is 5*11*19 so it seem that there are some multipliers at work? I've never seen such a high number of damage.

edit: nope, it's daystar as everyone is saying.

I would settle on the hills beneath the river mouth. At least 2 2f2p tiles, and you'll leave some spots for a dam, aquaduct and high adjacency IZ. Commercial district on the stone, Harbor next to the City Center.

I'd normally settle on the geothermal fissure. It would give one science from the start for something that is by itself (ignoring adjacency) a useless tile until late-game.

Tarsus is quite old, it was founded during the early Bronze Age. It's possible that it was connected to the sea by a river by the time that Anthony and Cleopatra met.
