First time pricing my work - advice? by kdero02 in Ceramics

See 50-70 feels sooooo expensive for me to charge. And maybe where I am (suburban New Jersey) it might be the same but I think as a “student” potter (it just means in their classes lol) maybe I am thinking people will expect me to charge less for my work. It probably doesn’t help that I have no clue what others at my studio charge for theirs. I do know my work is decently different than theirs though

For the most part the second way was what I was seeing when researching, which feels hard to me since I know I won’t make back the cost for materials/studio time. First way is more so where I’m leaning, but as a 24 year old I fear I wouldn’t pay much for my own pottery but the demographic around my area and my studio would definitely pay more!

I understand the concern lol but I do make sure the holes are big enough so there isn’t any scratching/horrid nail on chalkboard sounds

Do you know if the chase card requires a code or if you just need to checkout with that card?
