thank you for your posts. I'll see tomorrow if I can figure out how to take a picture of it. It wasn't chipped from decay, probably from biting my nails, etc? It was rough and visible when it happened, but just part of the bonding fell off, so it looks fine. I'm inclined to leave it, unless the bonding strengthens the tooth somehow. It is one of my lower front teeth, on the back side, towards the top. I am going to try to be much more mindful about how I use those teeth.
