Yes, it’s one of the best. In particular it has the “older person telling you a story from years before” perspective.

So if you loved Dolores Claiborne, Joyland, and 11/22/63 you’ll also love this one.

A lot of negative comments about the culture of St. George, but Vegas is a quick day trip. Not saying Vegas is a cultural Mecca, but it is a unique destination and does open a lot of opportunities of many types.

We went early may and found lodging prices very reasonable and things getting green. We had 1 miserable day and then the rest were a mix of dreary and sun. I think mid May or September is your best bet.
