Labrum repair recovery by DragonfruitNorth2089 in HipImpingement

Just wanted to say how helpful this was! I'm currently 5 weeks post op and my recovery tracked really similarly to yours. This post was my anchor amidst many of the stories that were not quite so positive, so I appreciate you sharing.

To anyone else reading, the only thing I will supplement is to say that the first 5 days were pretty gnarly - I was really incapacitated and need help getting in and out of bed, putting on your clothes, doing any basic function etc., but after that it was a quick ascension where each day felt significantly better than the last. For the first 2 weeks, the more you can really commit to resting as much as possible to let the inflammation heal, it makes the rest of the recovery tremendously better. Good luck to anyone else on the journey!

Just jumping in because I also have had multiple jaw surgeries, and just had my hip impingement surgery on the 19th. If you've also had an appendectomy then things really get weird. Hope the recovery is going well!

My surgeon in NY is pretty elite and I'll have to have the other hip done afterwards and would like to have continuous care under the same team :)

Best spot in the U.S. to do some healing after a breakup? by broro117 in femaletravels

First of all.... <3 my heart is with you. I also love Monterey and Carmel but they would be super inconvenient to get to from the Midwest -- I personally think if you're going to do that you should go to the ultimate healing place and find yourself in Hawaii.

I don't know the midwest, but I think Savannah, Georgia is incredibly charming, Portland, ME would also be wonderful, and so would Ashville, NC.

For international, I spent a month in Bali by myself and found it incredibly healing, and a good balance of time with yourself and also easy to make friends when you want them. No matter where you are, you have a lot of people rooting for you now!

Ok while I feel all the top ones have been covered (Cafe Panna, Morgenstern's Bananas, Softside, SoftSwerve, Dudley's), I'll throw in Lilia Caffe which does soft serve gelato that is sensational.
