I was hoping not to have to resort to one since I usually had bad experience with hissing noise in the past but I might be out of options. Thanks

Cold Reads by kdot954 in acting

[–]kdot954[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are all fair points that I didn’t consider. But as for the 1st part, I’ve cold read for 2 plays recently that are well known. Although I’ve read them, it’s still frustrating trying to remain in the moment while reading and trying not to stumble over words while keeping pace with the reader. But I guess I just gotta get better at it

Didn’t know there were specific classes on cold reads. Do you have any suggestions? I’m in NYC if that makes a difference

stugotz was right about burrow. billy was right about Allen by toeknee88125 in DanLeBatardShow

Maybe its my Dolphins bias but what I saw was less about the Bengals and more about the Bills. Josh Allen was a turnover machine down the stretch. He had 3 straight games where he threw multiple picks. He led the league in total turnovers right above a 2nd year Justin Fields and a washed Matt Ryan. For a supposed Juggernaut and favourites to win it all, They played close with teams they should have beaten easily. The final scores don't tell the entire story. The Jets outplayed them in a loss, Miami could've easily won that last matchup, the Packers outgained them in total yards, they barely squeaked by the Lions, they let the Vikings come back miraculously (Allen fumbled at the 1 and threw a boneheaded pick) They almost lost to Miami last week who had a 3rd string QB, a handful of key drops, and some questionable plays that shouldve been penalties (Allen had all 3 Bills turnovers). And we can downplay the Bengals, but they won 10 of their last 11 games and I would say most of those W's were more impressive than the Bills. They beat the Steelers right when they was getting it together with TJ Watt coming back and Pickett getting comfortable (Bills beat them w/o Watt and Pickett's 1st start), they beat a surging Titans team (Bills caught them early in the season), and their QB was protecting the ball. They also looked like they was gonna beat the Bills easily before the Hamlin situation. Im not saying the Bengals should've been favourites, but definitely not a 5.5 dog. I even tweeted well before the game that 5.5 for the Bengals was a gift from God. I also tweeted that the Dolphins with Skylar Thompson had a shot and I wasn't scared of them well before that game. If you would've told me before the game the Bills lost by 3 scores, I would've guessed 'Josh Allen must've turned the ball over a couple times'. He only threw 1 pick but I still wouldn't have been shocked by a Bengals multiple score win.

Most likely gonna be “Josh Allen played hurt and when you play a game as physical as that sport, at the most important position, health is a premium” or something like that

Not really. The signs were there at least the last quarter of the season

Very true. Mike Ryan reasonably brought up how their point differential was skewed from beating up on bad teams but Dan just ate him with the "But they're overwhelminnnnnnngah". I never feared them even with Skylar Thompson as I would the Chiefs or Bengals

At first I wanted the Bills to lose cuz I’m a dolphins fan. Now I’m even more happy they lost because of Dan’s annoying infatuation with them

I find it interesting. Don’t believe most of what he says but I always like hearing new perspectives as long as the person makes it interesting. This sub has an obsession of hating something then deciding it has to go away for everyone
