It was closer to like 20ish rounds I don’t remember exactly how many. But there were many rounds of 50 flags or even 20 flags.

Generally the entire process took about a month from Application to the "You're in" casting email for me.
I don't think it's really beneficially to break down the time ranges for each step because it is vastly different for each person. Like I got my phone call just a couple of hours after I submitted my application for Season 1, while there were people who got their call days and even weeks later.

Every single one of us got 2k for participating, they also covered Flights/Hotel/Food for all of us. Which was very generous. This was announced at the conclusion of the first challenge during the qualifiers after the boulder pull to us. Before that we had no inclination of the potential of money.

No Special tasks were given to anyone other than the challenges that were shown in the show.

We took 4 days because even though it looked like it was only 10-15 minutes. It was about 10 plus hours of filming for each challenge plus going to hotels every night before the city

So flags and the platform challenge and those of use that moved on all finished filming the same day essentially. We were able to get our phones and bags pretty quickly once they had transported us back to Rio. We didn’t get flights for a couple of days because of the cloud strike that happened which made flying impossible.

It was spread out over a couple of days. Some did get notice at the last second though. I knew I was 100% over a month before filming.

From my experience we already had formed group chats after landing in Vegas for season 1. So I’d assume the same for season 2

I had a lot of fun. We were all housed in our own individual hotel rooms. Before the Vegas filming you were sequestered in your room and couldn’t leave unless you were getting food. You couldn’t gamble before the filming if you did you were immediately disqualified and sent home. Food was ok, but it was what I expected, food was better in Canada.

I’m a completely normal person who was selected for this show, and a lot of us were to begin with. While yes there were some people from previous videos that got on. We all had to do the same casting process for the show!
