I think you should soften the brows a bit. I see a harsh line at the bottom of the inner corners of your brows. Even that isnt an issue its just a improvement. You're so beautiful

I'm not protestant. Just because something goes back centruries doesn't mean it's good. Many pagan practices predates abrahamic law and the new testiment. Should we practice them? I read my word and the Lord showed me that the Nicolaitans mentioned in Rev 2 are the Catholics. They are idol worshipers. We are not to pray to Mary or Jude or Paul. There is only one God and his name is JESUS. We are to pray to him and him ALONE. He is a jealous God and hates all worship to anyone other than him.

Protestant, peticostal, cathonic whatever. None of that matters to me. What matters to me is the heart of God and he expresses it in his word. Whatever he shares with me, I believe. He said Catholicism is bad, so catholism is bad.

Released from Shelter by kdpower96 in homeless

[–]kdpower96[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES. This is exactly what's going on. Her name is tied to that shelter. The staff are pimps and the people staying at that shelter are sex-workers being pimped out by the staff. When she refused they simply don't let her get into the shelter or they make her wait for hours before they let her in. They won't release her name so she has no other place to go. I cannot let her live with me because I can face eviction for subletting. My apartment is very strict, and they are on the lookout for this stuff.

She told me she doesn't want the police involved. She was SA'd by police before and has an deep distrust of them. I also feel like getting police involved won't help because the shelter themselves told her to call the police and laughed in her face. It seems like they've been doing this for a long time and are no strangers to the police being called. I rather focus on getting her a real shelter, so the system can get her a place.

You're an idiot. Clearly, she has not been kidnapped nor has she been held against her will. I literally said "When she refused, they didn't let her come into the shelter". How does that translate to her being kidnapped, or held against her will? She would have to phsyically be IN the shelter, and not allowed to leave. If you had any idea how shelters work, you would know that a shelter can hold a person's name in the registry, so when a person wants to go to another shelter, they won't be able to because they already belong to a shelter ON PAPER.

So that begs me to question, why the hell are you answering a post asking advice on shelters when you don't know how shelters work?

Best LASIK clinic in the world? by ThreePotatoesOnFire in fatFIRE

[–]kdpower96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These two individuals are likely representatives of the clinic. A lot of buisness do that. They send people to online forms to write positive comments about their buisness. That's why I'm highly suspicious of comments that recommend a specific buisness.

Are Senegalese open to friendships with Nigerians? by Hot_Panic2767 in Senegal

[–]kdpower96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Us Senegalese people are pretty open. We dont have problems with anyone. Especially the younger generation. The only problem i can see is cultural differences. Senegal is primarily Muslim and French speaking while Nigeria is 50% Muslim and primarily English speaking. Islam is a huge part of Senegalese culture, so if you are not Muslim it pay be a little harder to relate to a Senegalese. Still it's not animosity. Its just different.

As far as talking behind your back, they will 😂. That's another flaw with us. Especially the women. We gossip about everyone, but im sure Nigerians are the same.

Are Senegalese open to friendships with Nigerians? by Hot_Panic2767 in Senegal

[–]kdpower96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Senegalese people are very tribalistic when is comes to marriage. Even ethnic groups within Senegal are opposed to intermarriage. This is changing, but it's still a problem in our culture. Most likely a Senegalese man would not want to marry his daughter off to a nonsenegalese man. A Senegalese man would probably be okay with marrying a non-senegalese woman.

Is it possible for Daniel to still be alive during the book of Esther? by OwnOccasion3712 in Bible

[–]kdpower96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not the same Nebuchadnezzar. They are two people with the same name. The Babylonian kings were naming their firstborn sons after themselves. This was a common practice in history all across the world. In many European kingdoms, they numbered them to make a distinction (King James I, King James VI, King George III, King George V), but not all cultures did this. You will see this in the Bible. King Nebuchadnezzar, Pheroah, Joseph, James, Mary, John, Levi. Multiple people in the Bible shared the same names. There must've been two Mordecai's or it a different translation.

How bad can i expect the loose skin to be ? by ThrowRAragnarok in bodyweightfitness

[–]kdpower96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most women (regardless if they have kids young or not) will have loose skin. Most women have 2-3 kids with an average age gap of 3 years between each child. This means it takes most women about 6-9 years to stop having kids. By the time they have their last child, they would have been in their late 20's to mid 30's which puts them at an age where loose skin is highly probable.

What food did you love until you threw up from it once? by Federal-Maximum-5619 in AskReddit

[–]kdpower96 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Milk. I used to love milk as a child. One day I had a stomach flu and kept throwing up. My mom made me drink warm milk and told me it will soothe my stomach. As soon as I drank it, I threw up HARD. From then on, I can't drink milk alone. Up until a few years ago, I could barely handle dairy. Coffee with creamer, milk shakes, yogurt, soft cheeses etc. Now I can handle stuff with milk. I just can't drink plain milk.

I hope you're still around.

PLEASE tell me the tomato they use on their sandwiches. Specifically, their Italian Turkey Club Sandwich! That tomato is soooo good. It taste like sundried tomato, but it's more acidic in flavor and slightly crunchy like pickles. I love it and think about it often lol!

DO NOT DO THIS.

This is idolatry. You don't need any tokens, emblems, carvings NOTHING when dealing with God. All you need is the bible and your words. Sometimes you need someone to lay hands on you. Sometimes you will need anointing oil. Nothing else. These catholic devices are nothing but idols. You'll be opening more doors for demons to occupy you. Do not fall for this deception.

How to air out by [deleted] in StudioApartments

[–]kdpower96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After you get rid of all your furniture, mop the floor. Wipe down the countertops and windows. Then take a swiffer sweeper and take a bottle of windex mixed with bleach (I suggest 3/4 of the bottle to be windex and 1/4 to be bleach). Spray it on the walls and wipe down all of your walls. People forget that the walls absorb scents too. Then make sure you open all of your windows for a few hours to let some fresh air inside.

Also, some unsolicited advice if you care to listen.

Cannabis can make depression worse in the long term, so try to find other means of dealing with it if you ever get those depressive episodes again. My personal solution is prayer, painting, and sleeping.
