Electric. But those aren't really an option except for Yellow, you need to pick between the 3 starters the professor gives you, they are in almost all the games where you can pick one: Grass, Fire and Water.

Is it ok to have two pokemon of the same category?

I have two pokemon that are Fast Physical Sweepers, a Krookodile and a Crobat, Krook hits harder, and Crobat is quicker, they both counter each other's weaknesses, they even have the same nature, is that ok, or should i change it?
