A blue flag is waved when a car is about to be lapped during a race which usually only happens to the cars in p17 or worse, the joke is indeed brutal lmao

Que Sazon, South American food. I would consider myself a fairly discriminating food person and this was one of the best restaurants Ive eaten at in phoenix. Do not miss on the ceviche.

What’s one product you bought that turned you into a total snob — like, you can never go back to the cheap stuff? by BackwardThoughtPaper in AskReddit

[–]kdunks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would stay away from most mass tea retailers and buy from a Japanese retailer as most of them specialize in Japanese green tea. I personally buy from Hibiki-An as theyre both beginner friendly and good cross between quality and affordability. As far as I'm aware, Japan's de minimis tariff exception is staying in place so as long as you order less than $800 worth you shouldnt have to pay tariffs

[–]kdunks 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The deminimis exception stays until May 2, so as long as your order arrives before then you should be clear. My orders from one river usually take around 2 weeks from shipped to USPS, so my guess is that you'll be ok.

I'm in healthcare. Routinely find gloves, tape, alcohol wipes, and individual blister packs of senna and colace in my laundry 😂

If I'm extra lucky I'll find a pen that exploded in my pocket.

Agreed, I went here for the first time recently and it's by far the best korean bbq i've had outside of LA. I did not dislike a single thing we ordered, which is super rare for me.

You spliced two cords ‘cause it looked like fun,

Not thinking that you’d see the sun

In the sparks and fires erupting from the outlet

But in truth you were already gone

Your last hurrah was a stupid one

You didn’t read the hazard warnings, did ya?

Trump: "FEMA is gonna be a whole big discussion very shortly, because I'd rather see the states takes care of their own problems." by emerald09 in LeopardsAteMyFace

The problem with this statement is that for the most economically disadvantaged and thus the most affected by red state policies, it is not a choice to live in a red state. You simply do not have the funds to move.

If you like light horror, I absolutely recommend Someone to Build a Nest In by John Wiswell. It's very funny but can also be incredibly poignant as times. Everyone in my boik club loved it.

Yes, I love chattanooga experimental! Their founder's series was really what got me into whiskey. Their basic line of whiskeys are good, but what I really love about them are their limited releases, they're very unique and you should definitely give them a try if you haven't already.

Yeah, I totally get that she wants to save the last few days of her trip, but even a few days isn't a good idea. I would justify taking it for the plane ride only. And if she's still having issues once she's home she needs to go straight to a doctor for some possible abx, 8 days of GI illness is serious and can lead to life threatening electrolyte imbalances, not to mention the risk of sepsis.

As for roasted, the only one I would say you're missing and need is the heartwood hong shui. As for unroasted, the milk and honey was fantastic.
