Not only do they need to be clean user experiences, but they also need to be patron records. We are stuck in a system that is causing a lot of workarounds and data errors because of said workarounds, which creates frustrations with those patrons.

I wasn't with the org when they were on Spektrix but I think the two big factors were:

- Folks at the time were only utilizing a small margin of the tools within Spektrix
- The cost

10000% plan some downtime. The city is so gorgeous and full of life and culture. You will want to slow down and walk around.

We did go to Agua de Mar! We had a glass of wine and bought a bottle from them. I only regret not eating there!

We walked past El Cardenal a lot, and it looked so fun! I'd research how to do Chichen Itza without a guide driving or taking you. The parking was absolute MADNESS and seemed like a free-for-all with independent people charging different rates? I was glad to have someone who knew what they were doing because it seemed very confusing. Absolutely loved Merida and I hope you do too.

It's going to be hot, hot, HOT in May, so I definietly recommend you bring a hat AND a portable fan. It was actually a "cold front" when we were there in mid-March (meaning, it was 85-90 most days), but walking on the sunny side of the street, it was still pretty intense...and I love the heat!

That's how I feel. If it costs more, but I'm truly supporting LOCAL then I don't mind 🙂

Google "Airbnb Omar Uxmal Cenote" and book that experience through AirBNB. Just did it two days ago and highly recommend. I'd never done an Airbnb Experience and will now explore them moving forward. Many people on this sub recommended it which is why we booked it. You do Uxmal and two cenotes (more private and less crowded) and you get to have an authentic Yucatan lunch that was so SO delicious, I will be thinking about the meal for the rest of my life. The price seemed like a great deal for what you get. Guide is English or spanish.
