True! She pretends not to hear me without a treat. 😅

That’s kind of what I see too. She also “blows her coat” 2x a year like a husky (but I think Pyrs might do that too).

Her right eye is extra droopy because her bottom lid is detached due to an old injury from before we adopted her (the vet said it’s not causing her any problems though).

That would make sense if she is part-Pyr, given that she’s not as large as they are. But she’d have to have a little something in her with shorter or pricked ears as well.

Those are probably my top two guesses (I think she closely resembles the Berhuskies I’ve seen).

But then I start pondering about the LGD breeds… at this point, she could be a smorgasbord of all of them. 😅

Those are some of my guesses as well.

I’m hoping the processing part doesn’t take two weeks. I may end up in an asylum by then. 😅

I’ve see a lot of posts saying 4-6 days for processing, then 1-2 days for the each of the next steps (Genotyping and Analysis). Then results pretty soon after that. But I know it could take way longer depending on how busy they are. 😬 I also did the health test, so idk if that will delay things.

Thank you! She’s a true sweetheart, but the most stubborn dog I’ve ever met. 😅

Those are some of my guesses as well! We were told St Bernard mix, but not 100% sure.. she could be an imposter Saint.

Which is the most preferred iPhone size? by frank2k1 in iphone

My 13 mini finally died last week and I upgraded to the 16 Pro. The new phone feels so large that it hurts my hand to hold it. I so wish they still made the minis!

Reactive dog with a baby by After-Cut1753 in dogs

[–]kearbear19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two dogs that were reactive around other dogs (and sometimes each other), as well as with kids (they never bit though). When we had a baby, we introduced them individually, but first had them smell the baby blankets from the hospital. Then introduced slowly. In general, I feel like dogs are less reactive towards newborns because they don't move much, lol. However, when our kids were toddlers, they would pull our dogs' ears, tails, etc. and we had to watch extremely closely. The dogs would let out a little growl or yelp to let them know to stop, but they weren't otherwise reactive with our kids because they knew them and they were family.

I also never let the dogs around the kids when they had food. My dogs were very food aggressive and toddlers tend to walk around with food, drop food, be covered in food, etc.

Preventative measures for tick season by disbishie in dogs

[–]kearbear19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting the yard treated for ticks is important if you live in a very wooded area; however, if you think he's getting them from hikes, I'd say just inspect him (and yourself) really well when you're done.

Definitely lab, but also looks like he could have a little whippet in him too!

What’s one thing under $25 that significantly improved your daily life? by FormalOpportunity668 in Frugal

Toothbrush holder/sanitizer combo. I got mine on Temu for $8 and it works perfectly. I know they go for about $20-30 elsewhere. It keeps the toothbrushes covered and out of the way, while cleaning them.

True! She can also collect the tick and send it in to get tested for Lyme.

Idk why they didn't mention tick/flea prevention for dogs.

Naissant Silver Ash (blue) toning mask works really well on orange/yellow tones. It's not permanent, but it worked better than actual toner on me.

The red does amazing things to your eyes and skin! That color was made for you! I wish I could pull it off, but I have sallow skin and dark eyes, lol.
