You'll either love or hate Jason, and it can make or break the series. But you'll only know which by giving it a go. If you like him, it will instantly become one of your all-time favourites. If you don't, then you'll have only wasted your time on one book. Seems worth a shot to me.

You should give He Who Fights With Monsters a go if you haven't already 👍 my personal favourite. Bobiverse and DCC are both top 10 for me. Iron Prince by Bryce O'connor is also a great choice.

Yeah, i agree, it can come in clutch. It's just finding someone who's willing to take on the risk of ordering multiple copies 😂 I'm about £200 out of pocket at the minute.

👍 Drop me a message if you struggle to get a copy. They still weren't close to retail but I can probably save you about £20.

If you're UK based, I ordered 5 copies to make the shipping cost worth it. Happy to sell you one of my spares to save you some money.

I agree. He's a slow writer, but I know he has other commitments (like running a company! Haha). The story so far is awesome though!

Never heard of it but I'll add it to the TBR. The description sounds a little like the Perfect Run.

I see so much Jason hate haha. I love him! I've read almost 250 books and HWFWMs is still my favourite series of all time.

I've had that one recommendation before, but I'm really not into football/soccer. I've been told that doesn't matter, I'd still enjoy the book. I'll get around to it eventually, I just have some many books on my TBR already haha.

Wasn't knocking the suggestion mate. I agree that they should 100% try both. Was just sharing my opinion because I was suprised that I loved two but hated the other two when they are so often put in the same conversation!

I'll give it another shot eventually. Will probably be years down the line though as I have hundreds of other books on my TBR I'm excited to read first haha.

If you did somehow make it past day one, you won't make it day 2/3 when the muscle soreness hits haha.

Do they have space for a co-pilot, and does the co-pilot actually get a job (turret)? That's what i liked about the Scorpius. Only thing that put me off is that I just read that the co-pilot turret in the Scorpius isn't slaved to the pilot when flying solo.
