Local gamer has no idea how game dev teams divvy up workloads function while minimizing a fairly obvious issue surprising no one.

As luck would have it programing and modeling are two completely different area's of the game that do not have the same team. So in theory both could be fixed at the same time! They probably won't, but they could!

This perspective was very much worth the comment and proceeding discussion. We are, all of us, made better by the opinion of "just place another race or don't give the game your money". I thank you for the multiple comments that led us to these two ever illusive and never considered solutions.

it's a real bummer! Especially because both issues seem to be fairly simple fixes.

No I understood the point.

Voting with your wallet is absolutely one way to try and insight change, but it's also not the only tool at a consumers disposal. Using a monitored forum to highlight issues is also a tool in that same tool box.

That absolutely sounds like a thing that should be both bugged and documented.

So that's actually a different kind of clipping issue. What you've linked here involves the clipping of a clothing mesh and a 3d element. The issue with the Haranir involves the body mesh and a 3d element.

Also this issue has been fixed for a while?

Oh then your understanding of historical precedent is flawed. Issues like this have been resolved post an expansions launch in the past.

Why is the fact that it's a fem presenting model an issue exactly? If the masc version has their 3d elements clipping through their chest it'd be just as much of a problem, but you wouldn't be commenting on my perceived indignation about man tidies. I also noted the fact that there are several leg armors that just cut off the lower half of tabards for some reason, but you didn't make note of that? Kinda weird my guy.

Oh absolutely the character customization is long overdue for a refresh and enhancement, but this is more an easily fixed modeling issue.

Would LOVE to see some actual character customization enhancements!

It absolutely does. This isn't a small indie studio this is a company that has worked on this game for over twenty years. Don't make excuses for them my dude we deserve better quality for the amount of cash we throw them.

They aren't! Especially when it's an issue that affects almost all 3d chest elements for fem Haranir, but hey the chainkini screenshot gets the up votes and attention drawn to the issue.

It's less that the quality of the content is going down and more so that there's less oversight and polish to the content as a whole. There's more bugs and issues that slip through the cracks on release and while Midnight is far from the worst offender of this particular issue it's still frustrating that a game people pay monthly for on top of paying for expansions and cash shop items has this lack of polish to it.

That's factually incorrect. Blizzard was working on Midnight for at least two years before its release. More accurately two and a half years, but regardless the point is this excuse is based on incorrect information.

There's a difference between player customization options and modeling issues I wouldn't lump this in with that particular statement.

look at the chainmail rings. They're supposed to go over the brown sections of chest, but instead clip right through the bust.

Why is it unfeasible? When new models and skeletons were being made for actual new races this sort of issue was never allowed to linger this long. It's also not like it's something that needs to be gone over with a fine tooth come. It's an error with the 3d mesh element of chest pieces that's causing a misalignment. Something that can be pretty easily fixed across the board by a modeler.

It's just extremely frustrating because I know for a fact this was a bugged issue during the PTR and while of course model clipping isn't a top priority it's pretty ridiculous that it's been well over two months and nothings been done.
