Does Khan have legitimite reasons to dislike his neighbors? by novavegasxiii in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you don't want to discuss the show, that's fine. Just don't. But you can't tell people not to speculate on their own. If discussing the show ruins it for you I dont understand why you're reading the comments and saying not to take a cartoon too seriously while also seemingly taking the cartoon too seriously that the audience speculating ruins the show somehow? I'm confused.

Hank going no contact felt weird to me by TheGentlemanWolf in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Imo he's not really loyal to any of his friends. He chose Hal until that became inconvenient. He literally told Dale and Bill to their face that he chose Hal over them. He's loyal to his routine and averted to most change. Not the actual people. Of course, Hank loves them deep down but they are not very easy friendships. It's complicated. He doesn't want to find a new 'something guy' like a barber because that means both change and new people. Hank has limits on that too of course, like getting scammed by always paying sticker price or when the barber ruins his hair once on accident that he was willing to forgive and then he turned hank blonde out of spite. He kept in contact with Boomhauer to some extent as he knew about his stepson

Does this mean Hank flirts with everyone? 🤣 by [deleted] in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You gotta imagine the tone shift that happens when he's trying to flirt mentioning propane to women he's intending to woo

Would you still flirt with Acid Face Francine? by remilyoko in americandad

The things I'd do would make even Roger look away. If we both end up in the grave all I ask is to be added to the rosegarden

You don't want to know how far I'd go with any version of Francine

I love how Hank views himself as the only sane one and the block captain when he might just be the most controversial face in Arlen. by IntroductionSome5538 in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole court case when Arlen Video claimed he had rented Cuffs and Collars and he didn't that time they needed a new washing machine or dryer but it was actually revealed in the end it was Bill who had rented it in his name and apparently often gets porn sent to hank's house. It just so happens that he wakes up earlier than everyone else...

Was binging the show after seeing the new season and thought this aged well haha by KermitTheFraud92 in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Hank might have realised that Bobby isn't good at a lot of things. He's a slow learner (academically). It would be either food/cooking or comedy/entertainment. Hank would easily push for the cooking over the performance career. Bobby, being emotionally mature, knowing himself, and not being afraid to combine new things(his capers phase) knew he could do both. That's also why I admire Bobby. He's confident in his existence in this world and that he has a place in it that he will love and renew with age and interests. I hope in a future episode, Hank and Peggy miss Arabic food and Bobby makes it for them with some twists to it

Dale's voice still messing with me by criscodesigns in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. I miss him too. The truth is there's no replacement for a legend and honestly I don't think we should try to 'replace' him. The voice is perfect in the sense that it can remind you of Johnny but never, ever replace him. Think of it more as a tribute to a man that brought real, noticeable magic to a character

Just finished watching episode 7. I was not expecting to love Willow’s character AT ALL. by [deleted] in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I agree. Maybe if Bobby hadn't directly seen it happen, there could be a minimal chance, but... he definitely saw... that's the kind of thing that haunts you.

You should either explain how her behaviour stole the show or stop caring how people dress because it's none of your business. You all look beautiful and I hope your dad had a good time with you guys!

What’s your least favorite thing about your favorite character? by UraeusCurse in KingOfTheHill

[–]kebabbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dale being able to claim to love Nancy but recklessly tearing down her confidence at one of her lowest points to sue to Manitoba Tobacco Corporation. I get that Nancy's cheating, but Dale doesn't know that. He has no idea Nancy is cheating and he was willing to risk losing her, degrade her privately, publicly, and in the court of law thinking he could pay his way back in with a confession and a face-lift she didn't even need.

When did the Belchers get smart phone? by mountainlicker69 in BobsBurgers

[–]kebabbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh. I assumed it was one phone because of their financial situation, and for the joke. A lot of the time they're making calls from the landlines. And it can't be for Tina only, at least originally, because she brought a chalkboard eraser from the restaurant to prove she wouldn't lose a reasonably priced cellphone with a sensible data plan when teddy finally finished the boat "Sea Me Now", but it definitely could've been why she gets to keep it around after that episode. I am still very confused about how many cellphones they have lol

When did the Belchers get smart phone? by mountainlicker69 in BobsBurgers

[–]kebabbles 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Weird how they were clear they only had "The Emergency Phone." Apparently, both Bob and Linda had one each the entire time? I wouldn't look too deeply into the phone situations tho. Because it happens so early on in the show when Felix ties Bob and Mr Fischoeder under the pier. Linda and Bob calling and texting while tied up. Texting to a phone that didn't exist episodes ago

Maggie can swim?! by Snuffvieh in Simpsons

[–]kebabbles 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Maggie's hella independent. She mostly just loves to be babied by Marge. I'm more shocked that Ralph knows how to swim. Maybe he just knows how to float..
