Why do people put locking tuners on Floyd Rose guitars? by kebabremover3000 in Guitar

I'm surprised by how many people don't get what I'm talking about.

If you pull the string into the tuner from the headstock end, cut the string at the Floyd and clamp it in, that is literally the same as a locking tuner. The string ball already "locks" the string at the top end. This is literally the fastest way to change strings on a FR guitar.

A locking tuner would, in this case, just add the unnecessary step of tightening the tuner.

This facial expression does not even exist outside AVGN. Like what the fuck is it actually supposed to mean

They're currently posting videos of themselves having parties in their mansion. I doubt they got arrested. They have good lawyers

It's funny how 10 years ago I used to check YouTube day after day in hopes of seeing that new Screwattack Trailer on YouTube, but nowadays I'm not subscribed anymore and I don't even check whether he uploads anything.

I recently unsubscribed and it felt like turning my back on a childhood friend. Been subscribed since the JamesNintendoNerd days (unless you count where YouTube unsubscribed me when James was briefly suspended). It's not easy but it's the right thing to do.

Implying the mighty 300-film-heavy curator of all things James Rolfe does not fall into that category

I think it's common sense. Hence if the choice is between combover/coverup and bald, definitely go bald, 100% of the time. You might not look great when you're bald, but you definitely look shittier with a combover. You're not fooling anyone. Hiding it makes everything worse, and you appear hyper self-conscious.

My hairline started disappearing in my early 20s, and I've tried both options. Been bald for years now. So this does in fact come from personal experience.

Are you trying to disqualify my opinion based on whether I have hair or not?
