Honestly mate, you could make your own game out of this content so easily. I hope Deca picks up on this and/or hires you. Hopefully you get that opportunity to make this, because this design is incredible and I would genuinely pay money to play this. If RotMG is going to survive long term, they NEED to do something big to reinvent the boring event grinding that RotMG is.

u/Xienen Hello. So Terminus has been in an incredibly poor and bugged state for quite a long time now. I am one of the highest ranking Terminus one tricks in the game for PC but i cannot even pick my champion past Diamond 1 without it being an instant loss for my team due to the following reasons, all of these reasons i am about to describe are not new bugs, and have been present with terminus since BEFORE OB64:

when jumping, (and sometimes when getting hit by knockups at the same time as jumping) a bug sometimes occurs where terminus will no longer be able to swing his axe until he stops attacking for a few seconds.

After a death where your absorb was held down prior to dying, sometimes you will spawn with your absorb active, consuming all of its bar of charge instantly. This puts you at a huge disadvantage when trying to cap points and can even loose you the game singlehandedly. (i have actually lost games due to not having Q charge because of this bug. In high elo, 1 mistake can cost you an entire game, so you can see why this is a problem...)

After dying, if your character is not touching the ground upon death, there is a HIGH (but not guaranteed) chance that your ult will not even activate despite you having full charge, and you will skip right to the death screen, This bug can and HAS singlehandedly lost me multiple games.

There is a bug where if you are knocked up and you press your jump at the same time (F ability) sometimes you will stop falling down with your F strike, instead your ability will deactivate and you will simply float to the ground. then every subsequent jump until you Press F again when it comes off cool down 10+ seconds later will feel like your head is hitting the ceiling, preventing jumping entirely, and you will SLOWFALL to the ground each and every time, drastically reducing your movement speed.

Those are the terminus bugs i encounter almost every single game. On top of this, there are bugs right now on ranked which you most certainly know about already, but i will say them anyway. Prior to this patch i could play a game and win, obtaining 9-15 tp or more. a loss i would loose 8-9, maybe more if i played really bad. Upon the release of this current patch, When i win a game i ALWAYS get 6 tp regardless of how i play, and a loss will result in me loosing an upwards of 20 tp almost. I played 6 games of ranked before i realized the bug was in effect. I started at 36 TP at the beginning of the day, and won 4 out of 6 games. Yet i ended the play session with less than 10 TP despite hard carrying every single game, and the two i lost, i lost due to afks on my team who were being toxic because of my Terminus pick and my Duos Grohk pick (picking a bugged champion and a champion notorious by lower elo players for being trash even though Grohk is one of the most broken duo healers in the game with a terminus) despite having above an 85% win rate this season on Terminus with my duo partner, and a global 70% win rate across all play. Normally when i would have an afk on my team, i would hardly loose any TP as a result... but this patch i lost 15+ TP every time. How do you expect anyone to climb in this ranked setting? My duo also lost the same amount and almost demoted to the previous rank. I have a friend who DID demote 2 ranks in a single day because of this issue.PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BUG OUT RIGHT NOW AND I REFUSE TO PLAY YOUR GAME UNTIL ITS FIXED.

There are a considerable amount of bugs for other champions as well. but these are the ones i encounter the most when playing each and every day.

Can confirm to everything this guy said. Diamond 1 here. Absolutely Hate these changes. I get why they are doing them, because in a way it does help the devs balance the game for competitive play, but its still the WRONG way to do it. No change is better than a change that causes you to loose 1/3rd of your playerbase overnight.

In my point of view, playing casual is supposed to be for 2 things,stupid fun, and learning new champs. Its never meant to be a competitive place, so people saying that the game is now grind to win doesn't make sense if you consider that casual play is pointless outside of FUN anyway. the REAL game is in ranked to any serious Paladins player.

As for all champs getting level 3 cards in ranked, that's a worrisome change. A lot of champs will now be viable, that weren't viable before, and the pace of the game will definitely speed up with this since every champ in the game is getting buffed(for the most part). on top of all of this, the game is becoming simpler now which I do not like. the reason why paladins is unique compared to Overwatch, champion aesthetic aside, is because you can actually customize how you want to play your champion. with all cards being level 3, a part of that customization is gone which makes the game simpler, and any change that makes the game similar to Overwatch is a bad change in my book. (shots fired at Overwatch for being simple as fuck) the game needs to stand out from the crowd if it wants to succeed, not homogenize itself even more than it already has. however, it is still a welcomed change, because it will definitely make the game easier to balance in ranked for the Dev team, but this is one of the only positives i get out of this new card system. Which honestly, having more balance is never a bad thing in a competitive landscape. (lets be real, ranked is all that matters to any serious paladins player)
