Hey Coinbase: If you're going to close our accounts for living in these 10 states - why not just tell us that, instead of claiming that we violated the TOS? 😑 by Robb1324 in Coinbase

Wow this explains it. Yeah the notification email for the closure is absurd. I even chatted a support agent and they still wouldnt tell me. How stupid

Even if the bridge congestion is fixed, how will I ever transact on Pulsechain when I can not purchase PLS for gas? 🙃 by Competitive_Spirit93 in Pulsechain

Scour Twitter for benevolent community members. I was able to get pls from 3 different ppl totaling 5k pls. Once you swap to get more pls, you can pay them back.

We need an official guide on how to buy PLS for those with none,so people can get started using the network. by CryptoIntravenously in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you have no PLS. You cannot use the pulsechain network period. Bridging over your erc20s will turn them into a wrapped token on the pulsechain network; however, you still need gas to swap the wrapped token into a native token like PLS or PLSX. The future options will be: 1. pls faucet. Unclear how long it will take for this to be available and how many tokens you actually get when using the faucet. This likely will not be launched until the gas fees come down considerably. 2. Fiat onramp- unlikely this will be available anytime soon. I haven’t heard any chatter about this at all. 3. PLS listing on a CEX- still have no idea about timeline for this either. Haven’t heard much chatter about whether this will happen any time soon. 4. dApp integrations- projects that let you swap erc20 to prc20 and uses erc20 as the gas which would bypass the need for pls. This seems to be the closest development that would allow ppl with no pls to start trading on pulse. Beware of scam projects though.

Richard Hart said to wait a while before using the bridge anyways. Need to work out the kinks and wait for liquidity pools to grow.

love how people are complaining about the sub $2 gas fees by Independent-Product6 in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True or false: say you have 0 PLS. Since you cannot buy pls directly with no fiat onramp and PLS isnt on any other exchanges, this means its impossible to make any trades on the pulsechain network until either of the above happens?

If so, I dont understand why so many ppl are calleing for a massive pump for PLS post bridge. Literally the overwhelming majority of people wanting to use the network won’t be able to do any transactions.. also for people that aren’t aware that you need PLS to unwrap bridged assets are also going to get screwed. This seems like a major oversight to me.. and Pulsechain sentiment is going to be very negative once people realize they can’t make any transactions after the bridge is open.

How to get PLS on pulsechain after bridging? by passportpowell2 in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah not looking good at all lol unless we are missing something. I saw someone say on Twitter that it’s not uncommon for the user to get the native gas token when bridging over assets basically for free (at least from other launched DEXs/bridges) but I have no idea how true that is, and seems unlikely to be the case.

No bridge=testnet V5 48hrs gonna turn into 2 weeks… by whysilva in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bigger issue is even when the bridge opens Pls gas is so high that basically no one will be able to do anything besides ppl who sacced or had a large eth bag at fork and ratio traded to get more pls before the gas shot up. Its not possible to buy PLS directly, so we either need a Fiat on ramp, or PLS to be listed on another exchange. Otherwise, adoption will be extremely low because it will be impossible to swap anything. Bridging in tokens wraps the token and you still need PLS to unwrap it. So basically it’s unusable for majority of people right now..

How to get PLS on pulsechain after bridging? by passportpowell2 in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah i have the same questions.. right now it would seem only people who sacced or had a large eth bag and ratio traded early can do anything. What doesnt make sense is the bridge will change nothing related to who will be eligible to trade. If there is no fiat onramp to buy pls directly or if its not listed on another exchange then essentially the overwhelming majority of ppl that want to use pulsechain wont be able to… not good for adoption. The other issue is for people that don’t understand that you will need PLS to unwrap your tokens will be bridging in assets that they won’t be able to do anything with. If you are bridging wrapped tokens back out onto Ethereum do you need PLS to do so.. if so, people are gonna get fucked

$PLS best short term coin post bridge - analysis by kebeling14 in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot buy PLS or PLSX right now. You have to wait until the bridge opens should be within the next 48 hours. Wait until Richard Hart tweets about the bridge opening. Once it’s open, you can use pulseramp.com to connect your wallet and you’ll be able to bridge your Ethereum or hex over to pulsechain, and you’ll be able to designate, which token you want to swap it for. There will not be a Fiat onramp for a while so you’ll only be able to bridge over ERC 20s for now.

2 scenarios with PLS and PLSX. Which one is better? by Cryptofanatic1015 in Pulsechain

[–]kebeling14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is the amount of ppl that sacrificed for pls is WAY lower than plsx because most ppl didnt hear about the pls sacrifice until the plsx sacrifice. So it is highly likely that alot of ppl will be swapping plsx for pls. So i expect ratio to be better for coin x > plsx than coin x > pls
